This is a budget hotel. Our room was clean, housekeeping does a very good job for individual rooms. Front desk staff is quite accommodating. Pool area was clean and chairs were comfortable. There are washers and dryers in a separate building which is easily accessible to hotel guests. The hotel does have an RV park attached to it and those guests have access to hotel amenities. The hotel furniture is well-worn, as is the carpeting in the public areas. The hotel bar provides off track betting and appears to be well attended by those who desire to be involved in this activity. While the main public areas of the hotel are clean, the bar area needs a bit more attention regarding cleanliness. All the sports items hanging from the ceiling are truly dust collectors. It did not appear that the walkways were swept on a daily basis. Debris from a golf liquidation sale were on the walkways the entire time we were there. Clubs were repaired and bits and pieces were left on the walks. A beer can was stuffed into a shrub near the door to the hotel lobby in the pool area and was never removed while we were there. Now, it is also obvious that management is doing updating and repairs. The roof was being replaced, the exterior of the building was being painted, however, details are so important to a hotel guest's comfort and enjoyment. While we have no complaints regarding the cleanliness of our room, exterior cleanliness will only compliment the hotel. Even though it is clearly a budget hotel, details are important to the quality of the premises. Would we stay again, that would be likely, knowing that the rooms are clean and the staff courteous and attentive to patron's needs.

I reserved this room as part of a purchased package deal because of the location of the property. We needed to be close to the jobing.com arena. The majority of the reviews that I read after booking were negative and largely undeserved. For a budget hotel, I found it to be more than adequate.

The hotel is quite isolated, you should have a car if you are going to stay here. The lobby and hallways in the main entry area are clean and comfortable looking. The hotel staff were polite and helpful upon check in. There is an area in the lobby wherein there is computer access for checking e-mail printing boarding passes etc. The room was a decent size. The bed was comfortable, heat/air worked, tv and remote worked, shower pressure was good, there was plenty of hot water and there was a working hair dryer. (As always, I would recommend that anyone who travels packs earplugs; the AC is loud, and although the hallways were not noisy during our stay, earplugs are a good thing to have in the event that there is a lot of noise). I did have a hard time getting the coffee maker to work, but did not bother with it after the first morning as the breakfast area is open and coffee is available at 6:30 am anyway. Parking is free. I had good access to the pool area which was nothing special, but the water is kept warm, and there are chairs to relax by the pool on. Being from a cooler climate, it did not have to be overly special to be appreciate the pool area even if it was nothing special. The breakfast area was open at 6:30 and was spacious and clean. There are waffle makers, coffee, toast, instant oatmeal, fruit and cereal and I appreciated that the bagels were individually wrapped. There is a sports bar/restaurant onsite, but we did not use it. There is also a small excersize room that we did not use.
There were a couple of drawbacks. On our second night, there was a strong sewage like odor in the hallway however this was resolved within a couple of hours and did not permeate into our room. On our third day, it was late in the day, around 3:30 pm before our room was cleaned. It was not problematic for us as we were sitting around the pool anyway, but it might have been an issue for those who need to use the room during the afternoon hours, eg. for kids that need to nap etc.

This budget hotel is a good place to stay if you want to be close to the Jobing.com arena or NFL football venue and have a car. It offers easy access to the the ring/loop road that will take you to the airport, Scottsdale and Phoenix and to quick access restaurants and shopping centres including a decent outlet mall.

Room Tip: There are rooms on the main floor that have sliding doors that open to the pool area. Might be nice...

Kept awake both nights by loud drunks in the hall and outside of my room from 10: 00 PM through 4 AM. Told the front desk at 10 PM the second night when the same noise as the night before began but it did not result in a quiet night.
The first morning no protein of any kind in the breakfast, no eggs, no peanut butter, nothing.
There were hard boiled eggs the second morning.
Nothing in the work out room worked!

All else was fine
