This Ramada Inn is only five miles from Peoria Sports Complex, where we go every year to see spring training baseball games. The motel was quiet and the interior was clean, but hundreds of cigarette butts littered the front of the property. There is a very large grassy area dotted with palm trees. It is a good place to take dogs for a walk. Dozens of birds roam the lawn and perch in the trees, chattering and calling. Several jackrabbits also hop around. The "free breakfast" consisted of cereal, waffles, hard-boiled eggs, and a tiny container of biscuits & gravy which each day was depleted long before the breakfast time was over. The Ramada has an exercise room, a swimming pool, and a sports lounge. The staff was friendly and helpful in recommending nearby tourist attractions and providing directions.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a patio door that opens to the pool and the grassy area.

We had a bit of a problem with the room they gave us at first. I had requested a room by the pool and there wasn't one available. i was very disappointed so the gal went the extra mile to accomodate us and we ended up with a wonderful room!! The contenental breakfast was always stocked and better than most. I swam everyday. Great trip. We would return. thy so much Ramada!

Room Tip: The rooms by the pool have a patio door and a little seating area outside. The first room had a smal...

Very clean room and comfortable beds. The problem was their wifi service. Dial-up would have been faster. It really was barely useable.

We were looking for a relatively inexpensive place to stay for a weekend trip to the Phoenix area. This Ramada Inn was within 20 minutes to our friends' home and included breakfast. It's not much to look at from the outside, but the room was clean and comfortable enough. The staff was very nice and friendly. The people who worked the breakfast were especially considerate, asking if anyone wanted more food before they started putting the food away. Breakfast offered cereals, muffins, breads, hard boiled egg, oranges, and make your own waffles. They had coffee, milk and orange juice. It wasn't spectacular but was good. It's definitely a road side motel. Easy access to the freeway. There isn't much around it and probably isn't in the best part of Phoenix area. There's a large Goodwill store within a few minutes drive down the street if you are into thrift store shopping. My only real complaint is that the air conditioner was a bit loud.

Room Tip: Second floor rooms would provide more privacy. Each to look into the windows from the parking lot i...

Our friends, husband and I stayed just one night, as this was the closest hotel to an event we were attending. We really did not spend much time there, other than to sleep. We did have a cocktail in the bar before our event : it was roomy, with plenty to do (billards tables, electronic horse racing), if you wanted. The continental breakfast was a bit above average offering waflles, premium cereals, bagels, etc. I know I slept well ,it was comfortable.

Checked in to this hotel and walked into a room that smelled like smoke, pubic hairs on the toilet, dirt in the bathtub, and semen stains on the comforters! They changed rooms for us, but when we walked into that room there was brown stains on both comforters of the beds. Needless to say, we got our money back after being treated like we were the one's that had the problem!

Room Tip: Stay anywhere but here.

We stayed here for 8 nights. It was a very comfortable and clean hotel. I noticed other reviews complained that there is nothing to do around the hotel. There is plenty to do and the hotel is close to many of the attractions.....all you need is a rental car. We were close to the ball parks, downtown Phoenix, close to the interstates. We had no problems with the location of this hotel. It is true that alot of business has left the area, just 2 or 3 blocks south there are buildings locked up and moved out. It is NOT a bad or unsafe neighborhood. The hotel has very good customer service and we were treated very well. The continental breakfast was very good everyday. It was fresh and has good choices. Hard boiled eggs, fresh bread, cereal, fruit, waffels, muffins, orange juice, coffee, tea, milk. The staff was very friendly. They keep the property looking good. The pool is very clean and kept up with. It also has a nice work out room with two tread mills, reccumbent bikes, and an elliptical machine. The rooms are nice and comfortable. I'd say the only thing I did not like during my visit to the Phoenix area was the weather. 115 degrees is hot!!! Take my advice and book a room here. Really good prices for a working man and his family, with alot of benefits of a hotel. You will enjoy your stay here. Oh, I almost forgot to tell you about the bar and grill, their food was really good and good folks working there as well.
