Have an uptown experience without the hefty price tag! We visited Fleming’s bar for its “5 for $6 ’til 7” menu. It features five full-sized appetizers, five premium cocktails and five select wines by the glass, each priced at $6. The bartenders were classy and they mix a killer drink. Guests of mine had the limoncello martini, the white Cosmo and a 99-calorie “skinny” Stoli Bombshell. They starters were super yummy... such as melt-in-your-mouth tenderloin carpaccio, wicked Cajun barbecue shrimp and the juicy half-pound Fleming’s prime burger with cheese and bacon. 5-7 p.m. daily.

Honestly, I have to save up to eat there for the full price alacart dinner since the menu indicates the prices are more than my happy hour budget! We had some great adult time with no small kids around. Perfect to unwind after the work day.

This is about my 3rd or 4th Article on Flemings. First, This restaurant is very expensive. So is a Rolls Royce automobile. Eight of us converged on Flemings this past Friday Night and all agreed that for them to improve and make it a better dining experience would be just about impossible. The eight meals consisted of 2 Salmon elegant dinners, 3 Filet Mignon dinners, 1 Lamb Dinner, and two awesome Ribeye Dinners. We all agreed that the meals could not have been any better than they were. What adds to the expense of the meals is the rest of the meal is a la carte. As an example, my wedge salad which is incredible was an additional $9.50. Expensive? Yes, worth it, Absolutely. Flemings is without a doubt the best dining experience you can possibly enjoy in the Phoenix area. The food portions are large and we had about 3 doggie bags to haul the extra goodies home. If you have a special occasion to celebrate......... Go to Flemings and enjoy a meal of a lifetime. The service is incredible and the ambience is second to none. Six star rating out of a possible 5 star system. Over and above the rest with room to spare.

Typical chain steakhouse with excellent service and alacart menu. The bone-in filet was a nice surprise and was very good. This was my first Flemings experience and it was excellent but could be Vic and Anthony's and a number of other steakhouses. I would go here again, you cannot go wrong, but it is a cookie cutter restaurant like most of the rest.

We ate here on a Sunday night (March 24) with another couple. We were in town for spring training games and the concierge at our hotel recommended Flemings to us. When we arrived, it felt more like a Saturday night as there was lively, energetic atmosphere. We were seated in a comfortable booth and assigned an incredibly wonderful server who not only answered our every question, but also played along with our friendly banter. I am so disappointed I don't remember his name. He helped us select a wine that all four of us loved - a lovely bottle of Pinot noir, but, again, I can't recall the name.

I had the braised short ribs with spinach, which were melt-in-your-mouth perfection. My husband had prime rib with blue cheese mashed potatoes and said it was excellent. The sides were served family style so our table had asparagus, green beans, and Fleming's signature potatoes. All were perfectly prepared and wonderful! We had given up sweets for Lent so our waiter arranged beautiful fresh berries for our dessert. The couple we were with had the chocolate lava cake and said it was divine. We were very jealous!

Bottom line: nice atmosphere, delicious food, and very knowledgeable and personable staff! We will be back the next time we're in town.

Flemings "is" the best in the Phoenix Valley of the Sun. Bar none, this restaurant is should do whatever it takes to keep their chef happy and handy. We always go with friends and when we introduce one or two new couples to Flemings, they are in awe during and after the meal. Using the automobile analogy, a Bentley cost more than a VW, is it really worth it. Using Flemings as an example versus all other eating establishments, you're darn right it is worth it. I have revised my rating scale for Flemings. On a 1 - 10 scale for Service, Menu, Actual meals, Value, and Management they easily score an 11. That's right, 11 is not a mistake, they deserve to be placed ahead of all others. Want to impress your boss, great co-workers, family or real good friends, save your money and take them to Flemings. We will not go anywhere else when we have to have the best.
