Sunglow Ranch - Arizona Guest Ranch and Resort

The setting for Sunglow Ranch is absolutely spectacular, and would have made the stay worthwhile by itself. But the hospitality made it unbeatable. We could not ask for better food or service. We felt like pampered guests on a friend's ranch. Tombstone, Bisbee are fun local visits, and hiking in the Chiricahua mountains was incredible.

Thanks so much for coming to visit us from Santa Fe! You guys were real troopers given the unprecedented cold spell that descended upon us during your visit. :) We hope you come back and see us again to enjoy the more typical temps of day of sunny, warm days. In the mean time, we are sending you our best from SGR

Sunglow ranch the perfect getaway for the outdoor enthusiast, a romantic getaway or family fun. We started are trip in Wilcox with some wine tasting, headed to Sunglow for a visit with the beautiful horses, chickens and family dog. Amazing dinner with local wine. The room was perfect mix of comfort, cleanliness and hospitality with cookies and a bottle of wine in your room to great you. The property has a small lake and at great running /walking trail.
Love this place, worth the drive.

I highly recommend this place for a completely relaxing getaway. The views onto the mountains are quite lovely. Please take advantage of the mountain bikes and do the 3 mile trail then relax with a glass of wine. You won't regret it. Wish we'd been able to take advantage of the pool, but it was closed for the season. Also the canoe for guest use is really fun!

I come from Seattle, so Tucson already seems like the wide open spaces to me. When my friend suggested a trip to SE Arizona, to the Sunglow Ranch, I was surprised to see it was even more desolate. Yet after going through wide open spaces - with a fantastic side trip to the Chiracahuas - we arrived at a little bit of heaven in the middle of nowhere. The ranch is quiet, there are nice things to do like swim, sleep, take in the sunshine and you can feed chickens and pat horses. On top of that, they fix some pretty amazing meals. The local wine was wonderfully good as well. I'd highly recommend Sunglow Ranch as a get-away for a romantic or a relaxing, restorative weekend.

We began our stay at the Sunglow Ranch with a sumptuous High Tea in their gorgeous café where ever table has a view to die for – surrounded by meticulously manicured pathways, gardens and fountains leading off into the Chiricahua Mountains. To start, various flavors of tea were served along with a mixed green salad with ranch-grown herbs and other local vegetables followed by an assortment of exquisite hand-crafted mini sandwiches and delicate or’ devours – all followed by pastries and chocolate-dipped strawberries. Then, after an afternoon of wine tasting at two local vineyards, we returned to have an incredible gourmet dinner at the Sunglow Café. The chef, Colleen; Pam, the resort manager; and her entire staff are very attentive and available to meet your every need. The rooms are spacious, well-appointed and very comfortable – ours even had a fireplace with starter wood ready to go. Each morning, a wonderful and hearty breakfast is served in a relaxed atmosphere. The attention to detail is amazing at the Sunglow. If you are looking to escape your busy life – if even for just a few days, enjoy 360-degree views of pure gorgeous natural landscape and sky, and be pampered in luxury and delicious food – THIS is the place to stay!

My girlfriend and I were invited by a group of friends to join them at the Sunglow Ranch during MLK Day weekend and we had an amazing time. We spent the morning on Saturday riding through the plains with the Chiricahua mountain tops within our view. Our guide was a cowboy named “Bucky” and it was truly an epic experience. We came back to the ranch for a much needed nap followed by an dinner. The staff at the ranch were extremely accommodative to my gf’s picky eating and it! The owners were apparently visiting during our stay and made it a point to greet us both by first name which made us feel like regular guests. Sunday we awoke to scrumptious breakfast of cheese blintzes and an early morning massage outside. The pool area was apparently recently built and the massage room adjacent to the exercise room, although nice, we preferred to be outside. Our request was granted and we spent time in the Arizona sun during each of our massages. All in, it was a fantastic weekend. Hope others enjoy this gem in the Arizona desert as much as we did.

It's the perfect spot for a family gathering: beautiful common spaces and comfortable private rooms; quiet and out-of-the-way, with something for everyone to do. Hot tub and massage, hikes and horseback rides, side trips to Bisbee. The staff is great, the food is great. I can't wait to go back!
