“Brekkie”

Excellent Breakfast here before heading onto Hualasupai trailhead. Fresh fruit, porridge, cereal, hash browns and ham scram. Exactly what we needed to start the day!

“Great dinner while sleeping in the cave”
Reviewed June 14, 2013

We ate at this cafe on the evening we slept in the cave .. so we had it all to ourselves. Of course, the service was excellent and the food was good.

“Dinner and a breakfast, large group.”
Reviewed March 24, 2013

Large group of people (40+), visited the restaurant for dinner and a breakfast. Both meals were buffet style. The food was good and there was a large selection of foods in the buffets. The restaurant has alot of character.
There is also a shop inside which the staff kindly opened for us to get some souvenirs. The staff were very friendly.
The bar was very limited stock, it is a cooler just beside the till, with a choice off about 7 or 8 beers.

Would return!!

“Avoid, avoid, avoid!”
Reviewed October 28, 2012

The food is touted as "buffet-style, with several entree choices" . What a lie! It is a buffet only in so far as you go pick up the only dish on the menu! And if you want a choice other than the one red meat on offer, you are Surely- Outa -Luck. The multi-choice salad bar is the only saving grace.
Our first meal was a cold item of gristle-with-tendon small beef pieces with gravy made from powder. There was one item for dessert. The second night's debacle consisted of rough-cut slabs of meatloaf – no gravy, powdered or otherwise – with water-logged short-cut green beans WITH the stems; and one item for dessert. I guess they touted it a "buffet" because they were too ashamed to face you if they had to bring it to your table.

Breakfast "buffet" -- another joke. It was always scrambled eggs, and just one choice per day of either bacon or sausage. We got better in the military!

What a farce. Stay away! Save money and aggravation even if you have to buy snack foods to eat in your room.
