“Gets Pricey”
Reviewed September 3, 2012

This is not a catch and release place. They charge you by the fish. My boys caught a fish in 30 seconds. Which is Great...until you realize that its $8-10 per fish! Regardless, the boys caught a fish and their faces were priceless. $\

“Surprised they're still in business”
Reviewed July 9, 2012

My family of 5 and I came across this "business" on our way back from the hatchery. We rented the poles and immediately caught a few fish. One fish fell back in and a middle-aged blonde (who had been watching us from the patio on a phone) rushed over to us and treated us like criminals. She told us that we couldn't throw fish back in (we didn't, it fell) and acted as if she wanted to fist-fight. It was an extremely uncomfortable situation and I've never been so insulted or made to feel unwelcome. To add insult to injury, there was vague pricing displayed and we ended up paying an outrageous amount for the fish we caught. Any other business has a customer satisfaction guarantee. We were definitely not satisfied with our service or this establishment. I would avoid this place, unless you are rich and or looking to fight.

“Waste of money”
Reviewed June 21, 2012 via mobile

The catch a trout is over priced and isn't like fishing at all. The fish are in a big elevated pond and all you have to do is stick your bamboo stick with a string attached to it in to the water and you catch a fish. This is a waste of money because you can go to the wal-mart in payson and buy your kid a fishing pole, bait, and your self a fishing license and you can go fish in the tonto or horton creek or even drive 30 more minutes and be at 2 great lakes. Overall don't waste your money, enjoy the nature of northern arizona.

“A lot of fun!”
Reviewed March 16, 2012

This is a great place for kids to catch fish. It is a little like shooting fish in a barrel, be careful, you can add up a hefty price in a very short time. But I guarantee you will catch as many fish as you want within minutes.
