“Very Good!”
Reviewed May 15, 2013

Looking for something else, rather than the casino and this was perfect. Good food, moderately priced, friendly staff, and great atmosphere. What you see on the outside is no reflection to what the inside is like. We will definitely go there again when in the area, and possibly go back tonight. Had the prime rib and it was excellent and a huge serving.

“Just What We Were Looking For”
Reviewed April 17, 2013

After a long drive from LA to Parker, we were looking for a good steakhouse. Fortunately the front desk staff at Best Western in Parker recommended Stroke's. The menu was extensive with lots of steak, fish and chicken choices. My husband had the filet mignon, which he said was very good. My friend and I had the rib-eye, which was very tasty but we felt a little guilty about all the fat we ingested. Our other friend had the half chicken and it was so large that she took some with her to give to another friend (which he later enjoyed). The entrees were served with soup or salad and bread. The creamed corn that accompanied the entree was especially good. The prices seemed on par with similar restaurants we have been to in California or Nevada. Steak is pricey, that is all there is to it. Would definitely return when in the area.

“Very Expensive”
Reviewed April 15, 2013

The food quality was fair, but the prices were incredible. It was a good thing that we were guests of someone else. There is no way I would pay those prices myself.

“Casual atmosphere, fine dining!”
Reviewed March 11, 2013

I've seen a review or two that speak to the food prices at Strokes and I want to emphasize, you get what you pay for. This is not Phoenix or Los Angeles, this is a bit "in the weeds", but the food, the service and the atmophere are worthy of the price. There are definitely less expensive places to eat, but if you want a good steak, or one of their other specialties, this is the best choice in town. We will come back again soon.

“Prices just too high.”
Reviewed February 9, 2013

"Strokes" is just that---a Bar & Grill. But it is very pleasant and clean. We visited during the week and the restaurant was fairly crowded even then. There were 4 people in our group. Every one ordered something different; steaks, chicken and a French dip. The food was good and so was the service. The waitresses very friendly and helpful. However, some of the prices on their web-site were not the same as the ones on the menu. Some of the differences in pricing per meal was $5, and it was ofcourse $5 more @ the restaurant. And we all felt that the prices were way too high. I don't mind paying a higher price for a meal if there is nicer surroundings and if there is a view outside to enjoy. With the cost of everything these days, fuel, etc., eating "out" is becoming more of a luxury instead of sometimes a necessity. This place just wasn't some place that I would want to go to spend more dollars for the meal.
