We stopped at Coffee Ern's for a breakfast break in late April on our way from Las Vegas to Yuma. Where possible, we like to try local independent restaurants rather than chains. The place seemed reasonably busy which is usually a good sign. We were seated and given menus. We ordered coffee first and before checking the menu, I visited the restroom. It was filthy. When a restaurant's restrooms are unclean, it strongly suggests that the kitchen and staff cleanliness will be well below acceptable standards. As a result, we ordered only toast.
This restaurant looks like everything either broke or wore out ten years ago and no one cares. The seats in the booth we were given were torn, the floor was worn out, the finish on the counters is broken and peeling. Do the people of Parker not have a decent CLEAN restaurant, that they need to spend their money here? Does Arizona not have Health Inspectors?
The prices seemed average and the portions generous. The coffee was just OK and the toast was acceptable. Service was disinterested a best. We can't comment on overall food quality. Overall, the place is disgusting. Tourists should skip this place and seriously, the Health Inspector needs to drop by.
