“Over sauced, over salted”
Reviewed March 26, 2013

Ordered chicken satay skewers and Tottie rolls to start and there was only three small skewers. Most other Thai places either serves two large skewers or four smaller skewers. This was the best dish at our table so it's a shame we didn't get more. Tottie rolls had good crunch, but typical egg roll flavor so nothing special. Got the pad thai and they use a thin, fine vermicelli noodle instead of the traditional flat noodle. Also, there was too much gooey sauce that turned it into a pile of mush. Sorry, it just wasn't that great.

“Better Chinese food elsewhere”
Reviewed March 14, 2013

I tried Tottie's for the first time last week and was very disappointed. We got the hot & sour soup, that was pretty good, but then got the seafood crunch noodles and the kung pao shrimp. The seafood noodle dish was super fishy tasting (not in a good way) and although it did have a good bit of seafood in it, the overall flavor was not good. The kung pao shrimp was ok, but the taste was different than I've had at other Chinese restaurants - it wasn't spicy at all either. With lots of Chinese options available, we'll definitely be going elsewhere next time.

“Awesome!!”

Try their appetizer menu from 4 to 7. Most appetizers and drinks are $5. Great value and great food. Very authentic.

“Tasty Thai Tapas”
Reviewed February 27, 2013

Wonderful place to gather. Tottie stepped in when our server was busy at another table, and was very helpful and informative! Wonderful tapas, reasonably priced and a fun atmosphere. Will be back for more.

“First time trying Thai food, YUM!”
Reviewed January 13, 2013

Glad my first experience trying Thai food was here! I took my mom for her birthday and we were not disappointed. It was an experience for the both of us and we both had classic Thai dishes of Panang with chicken and Pad Thai with beef. HUGE portions and very affordable! I mean, feed like 4 people per dish. We started with the spring rolls as an appetizer too (really good). Left extremely full with smiles on our faces.

The waitress was very helpful explaining the dishes to us newbies as well. The only problem we had was the menu was overwhelming and hard for my mom to read. She's not blind by any means but it's so dim in the restaurant that there was an awful glare on the menu and the print describing the dishes was really small. So next time we may need to bring a magnifying glass so I don't have to read her the menu again (it's HUGE) haha!

Also, I think there are two locations of Totties and we went to the one in Scottsdale located in a plaza. It's hard to find and tucked in a corner so don't miss it! We drove right on by because we couldn't see it from the road.
