We have just returned from our 3rd stay at Sanctuary. It is aptly named, it is really wonderful. From the moment you arrive, the bellmen greet you, by the time you get to reception they greet you by name. The rooms are lovely, and the views phenomenal. Elements restaurant is amazing, delicious breakfasts, sumptuous dinners. Lunch by the pool was great as well. The spa is great with a large variety of services and very experienced, talented therapists. Everyone is so friendly, it is just a lovely place to stay. One highlight of this trip was my non swimming husband took a lesson with Olympic gold medalist Misty Hyman, and she had him doing the crawl in one lesson. A very cool once in a lifetime experience. If you are in the Phoenix area, it is the place to stay.

Room Tip: The end room have the best views

I am here in my beautiful spa casita enjoying my life. It doesn't get much better than this. There is nothing wrong. It is a perfect experience. My highest recommendation. I travel a lot, but this is a one-of-a-kind place. Book it now. Heidi Berger NYC

Room Tip: Spa casita is the way to go!

The setting of the resort is beautiful. You can hike nearby Camelback mountain, play tennis, have great spa treatments. Rooms are spacious, most with fireplaces which is very nice in winter as desert winter nights can be chilly. Nice balconies and Keurig coffee. Restaurant and Bar are very cool. Prices are high, but so is the quality. This is a great resort for singles, couples, or girls' weekends. It is very boring for kids though, not family friendly.

Room Tip: Suites have great views and large balconies

Phenomenal views and ambiance. The restaurant is excellent for any meal. Great service. A lot of attention to detail. I would recommend this to anyone. The location is convenient to a lot of great shopping and other restaurants.

Everything about this hotel was wonderful, great room, spectacular service, amazing restaurant, and plush amenities. The bed was beyond comfortable and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate. There is a beautiful view from the restaurant.

Room Tip: Mountain rooms have great views, but spa rooms have great amenities to really relax. Both rooms are...

Well, almost........This hotel & spa comes close to perfection. I stayed here with my daughter to celebrate her 30th birthday with a weekend of pampering and relaxation. Our first impression of our room was disappointing. Its walls are painted brick that resembles cinderblock, the mirror reflects the dated furnishings and the veneer on the bathroom vanity is starting to peel; YET we loved the extremely comfortable beds and finest quality linens. The bathroom has a great shower and double sink.

The spa is wonderful. We had massages and facials that were excellent. The facility itself is beautiful and relaxing & the staff is welcoming and very helpful. In contrast, the salon lacks the serene atmosphere of the spa and the cost of the pedicure is definitely not worth it. The decor in the salon is dated, a vacuum is stored behind the pedicure chair, and the quality of the pedicure itself was not better than what I receive at my local mani/pedi salon.

We ate at the restaurant, the pool and had room service delivered every morning. Although expensive, the food is wonderful and worth the cost.

The location of the resort is near the trail heads of Echo Canyon and the Cholla Trail and we enjoyed hiking. Be sure to bring plenty of water!

My husband and I stayed there one weekend when some friends came into town and were staying there. We had a wonderful, relaxing time. Our friends were in a 'house' which had a pool and beautiful patio and grill area. There was also a tennis court (drunken tennis anyone - ha ha). We didn't have to go anywhere during the day because we all hung at the house!!

One evening was a big dinner at '12'. What a phenomenal night that was! The table actually opens up to the kitchen. I am a huge Foodie so, I was excited to meet Beau and I wasn't let down by him or the food. He certainly knows his trade. Most of the people in our party knew him, so he spent a lot of time with us and we took loads of pictures. Everything was superb and the service was unbelievable. It was a night of wonderful food, old & new friends and fun!

Our room was very nice. The bed was extremely comfortable and there were many amenities to make it a grand stay. Fireplace, patio's, kitchen....all wonderful!

I would definitely stay there again!
