I will start with some positives: (1) Surprisingly great food, both at the restaurants, and at the conference services; (2) Valet staff is superb; (3) housekeeping is exceptional; amazingly beautiful grounds, (4) AMAZING bed!
Now for the caution: (1) do NOT get a room on the ground level in the buildings that are two-stories (my experience took me back to my college apartment--the guests above me were apparently wearing concrete shoes at 1:30 in the morning!)--and, like my experience, there may be "no other rooms anywhere on the resort" to move to, so you will be forced to suffer. (2) warning for non-smokers--this is a "non-smoking" facility, but apparently, one can still smoke within the room, as occurred during my stay--the cigarette smoke permeates the ventilation system, and the bathroom (albeit, luxuriously appointed) smelled like an ash tray--and there may be "no rooms anywhere on the resort" to move you to. (3) the parking lot (if you have a car) may be a bit of a walk from your rooms--there are golf carts, but waiting-?!- would not like to deal with that in the 115 degree Phoenix sun!
So to finalize--LOTS of positives--and some cautious notes to make your stay a bit better.More
