This resort was heavenly from the food to the ammenities, (like the spa).
Morroccan influences can be seen in every detail.
We felt that we had privacy on our balcony and throughout the resort.
The only thing that could have made it better was if the reconstruction of one "nightclub" within the resort had not been under construction.
Would return in the future!

Room Tip: Go for the buildings in the rear of the resort with your balcony facing Camelback mountain.

Thank you for your review! CENTRO Lounge is now open and has really become a great gather spot with amazing shared plates, beer and wine on tap and a 9-panel media wall top the new experience! Hope to see you soon!

Beautiful setting and hotel. Great service Had a great room on second floor over the Oasis no kids pool. A fantastic place to relax. Food excellent. No complaints whatsoever other than it was hard work getting complimentary water entitlement on my ambassador level and the price of those snickers but that is me being a little petty on a wonderful stay. Looking forward to going back

I loved it here. LOVED IT. Everyone went out of their way to make the stay special. I'm a platinum member and some IHC properties could careless about your loyalty. Not here. They take Platinum seriously. I was seriously considering changing to another program but this is the stay that convinced me. There were a few bumps during our stay. The bathroom needed to be cleaned, the checkin was delayed and the final bill was incorrect. But the staff handled each problem. I was in AZ on business and never considered it a great vacation destination but now I do. I'm sure there will be fewer bumps next time.

Some people comment that the suites are a but dark. They are but with all that sun I didn't mind. I get their emails often and I will pull the trigger and return soon.

This was our second year of staying at the Montelucia during our anniversary and it was the second year in a row that we were completely blissful about our experience. The Joya Spa is everything you could possibly want in a spa from the minute you walk in the door. You are both mentally and physically treated to relaxation that only comes when you feel totally cared for in every respect. The eating establishments on the property are worthy of the accolades they receive although as with any resort your "company" at any meal could be comprised of a crying three-year old or the guy that needs to put more clothes on. Regardless, the accomodations are nicely finished without being overdone and the service...the service is impeccable. The guys out front are cordial, respectful and attentive. The front desk staff is eager to make your stay as pleasureable as possible. And, the rest of the resort staff is so pleasant to be around. My wife commented that literally everyone we encountered smiled, said hello, and many times asked us how our stay was. Even the grounds crew seemed to be happy and cheerful on a daily basis! I know the competition for resorts is fierce in and around Phoenix but the Montelucia can hold its own with any property on the market and do it with style and ease.

Room Tip: Buildings 5 and 7 have great balcony views of Camelback while overlooking the adults only pool. I t...

The Montelucia resort and spa was the location of our conference this week.
Great facilities, outstanding service and an intimate feel made this the perfect location for 300 people in a conference, or a couple getting away from it all.
I plan n returning soon for another stay.

Room Tip: Overlooking th Oasis was great !
