Soft white sand, aqua water incredibly warm.
Unfortunately the Tsunami has utterly destroyed the coral reef, so the snorkelling was very dissapointing

We had the pleasure of staying at Lalomanu before the tsunami, and its great to see that that the beach is as beautiful as ever. sadly the coral is going to take time to reach it's former beauty.

Beautiful long white sand beach, with fantastic vistas. The Tsunami wiped out most of the coral, but there are still plenty of fish to sea if you go out snorkelling. Most of the nearby town has now moved uphill, but there a few places to get lunch, and a local shop of course.

We were there in august on a weekday and it was not busy at all. The coral reef makes a natural wave barrier making it great for snorkeling. We noticed that that most of the coral reefs were dead, so there isn´t too much to see in terms of wildlife, this might have something to do with the tsunami? But nevertheless a wonderful beach and well worth the drive from Apia.
Avoid the restrooms if possible though.

Pretty busy beach, especially with day trippers from Apia. Too many fales, too close. It's a pitty they changed the traditional style fales with woven pandanus mats to blue plastic tarpaulins.
