We really enjoyed our stop at this lovely place. It’s in the mountains so a bit cooler, and a nice relief from the heat of Apia. Great vegan options at the cafe, even for non-veggies. The bean burger and ice cream were delicious (opt for passion fruit if they have it). There is an art gallery onsite. We were able to take part in some cloth printing as part of a pre-arranged experience through Sinalei resort. Very enjoyable and a nice souvenir to take home.

A wonderful place, well worth a visit for the gallery and delicious vegetarian food. The surrounding views are breathtaking, with rare birds and lush vegetation accompanying you while sitting elevated on the gallery verandah. The veggie Indian food and turmeric, ginger, lemon drink (very refreshing) were excellent! Wendy was lovely to talk to and treated us very well. Not to be missed!

A beautiful place to stay and eat. The view is stunning. The food is homemade and very tasteful. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Exhibitions are ongoing in the gallery. In short, all the senses are stimulated in a relaxing environment. Worthwhile to visit.

We came to Tiapapata Art Centre one very hot afternoon for a meal and were very pleasantly surprised. The home cooked food was delicious! My sweet tooth loved the homemade cakes and ice creams... and the view was amazing. In fact, the food was so good that we frequented this place during our stay in Apia.... The beautiful art work is well worth a look. There are some incredibly beautiful pieces for purchase and the art centre offers classes and support to many budding artists and students in the local and international community. The hosts, Steve and Wendy go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. Thank you so much for making our holiday to Samoa so memorable. We will never forget your kindness and your delicious sasalapa ice cream.
If you are holidaying in Apia, Tiapapata Art Centre should be a part of your itinerary.

My old and dear friend and I were privileged to attend a Book reading event at the Art Centre at Tiapapata with the setting in the midst of original art in an airy gallery/café nestled in the hills above Apia delightful and the reading from the authors own work evocative and thought provoking...one of Samoa's artists has come home and there is much to look forward to from this talented artiste....

An evening of artistic bent was beautifully accompanied by a vegan banquet of 12 or 14 dishes using local produce to delicious effect on plates as colorful as they were tasty followed by a mug of Chi Tea and morsels of brownie, pastry and biscuits....a beautiful evening of prose, good company and stunning food.....
