I cannot fault this beautiful place or the lovely staff.. Myself and 2 kids ( 10 and 16 )spent a 3 night stay in Fale # 5 - this was a lockable beachfront fale.A great rate which includes breakfast and dinner.
A room with mattresses, mosquito nets and a lovely verandah with a table and chairs, ocean view, calm water, sea breeze and the sound of waves putting you to sleep at night.Be reminded that there is no power outlets in the rooms but staff will always charge your phones etc in the office. The toilet and shower block were basic and a very short walk away from the fale. There is also a toilet in the bar area.
This was my kids first trip to Samoa and Litia Sinis was a great spot to stay.( we also stayed at Insel Fehmarn see my review there)The view everyday all day was magical. The staff - Lydia, TJ, Joe etc... were great, helpful & funny. Whilst the kids liked the experience of Samoa they were missing home...we then met TJ who's family own Litia Sinis and TJ grew up in the same suburb as us in Sydney and was around my daughters age...they knew the same people! ( believe me this was a huge plus for a teenager who always has many friends, a mobile phone and the internet within reach lol)
The Dining area here is very clean and open and you can order lunches or light meals.
Breakfast and dinner is plentiful. There is also a bar where u can have a few drinks and game of pool or hang out on the deck, meet the locals or other travellers.Behind the bar u can also purchase light basic snacks eg chips, nuts and M&M's and some personal items.
Just a little tip though especially if travelling with kids - stock up on extras ( munchies) from the supermarket before heading out here!
Snorkelling equipment can be hired here for a very low price and you can also get into a game of beach Volleyball with other stayers and locals.
Another hint - do not try and swim to the island which seems a very short distance away. The week before we arrived and after being told not to - a man decided to try it. The locals know this place better than anyone so listen to them!
I love Samoa and cant wait to get back there...however 10 days was too long for the kids.

Great spot and location. Priced well. We stayed in a beachfront fale and loved it. The beach and snorkelling here is the best we experienced. The food (brekky and dinner included in price) was excellent, varied and plentiful. The lunches were a touch pricy, but still very good. The service and staff were helpful, friendly and quick to assist whenever needed. We were never left wanting for something.

You can charge all meals / drinks to your Fale, which is handy, but don't expect an itemised bill if you do so. I don't think we were ripped off - but the scribbling on a post-it note would make it hard to check or query anything. Maybe pay cash if you prefer to keep a track of things.

We stayed for 3 nights. Would probably say 4 - 5 wouldn't be a bad thing.

We stayed in an enclosed beachfront fale and these were in the perfect location with wonderful views of the lovely beach and sea. I would definitely recommend paying a little more for the enclosed fales to get the extra privacy plus it is handy having a cute veranda with chairs & a table. The enclosed fales have a fan, mozzie net and are lockable although the 'enclosed' part of the fale is more like a trellis and so is not 100% private!

The open fales did not look appealing at all with their blue plastic tarpaulin covers and if it rains (which it did often), you are then stuck inside what looks like a plastic-wrapped box. It is also worthwhile paying a little more to get beachfront since there are about 3 rows of fales and they are fairly close together (although we did not find noise from neighbours to be a problem). Staying in a fale in the back row by the road would not be very exciting.

The communal bathrooms are across the road and are kept locked which is a bit of a hassle and also rather inexplicable since the open bathrooms belonging to Taufua (resort next door) are just metres further along, and if you have a peek at them, they are far nicer! There are 2 separate bathrooms each for men and women and they are fairly basic - one bathroom is seldom used as they are older and the showers are even more basic (untiled and just a water pipe for shower). Water pressure - or lack of it - can be a problem. It was not uncommon for the water to become a trickle and then totally dry up so overall, I would say that the bathrooms are serviceable but are definitely overdue for an upgrade.

Breakfast and dinner are buffet and we found the food to be pretty good with a mixture of Samoan and western-style dishes. In the initial rush of diners, plates of food do run out very quickly but they are replenished - this can be a little slow at times so I would recommend getting there early (as many do) or to wait a little for the early stampede to subside. You can also buy lunch at the restaurant but unless you love fried food and chips (as in fish & chips, hamburger & chips, chicken & chips, etc), the options are fairly limited. Service at lunch time is very much on 'island time'.

As described by everyone else, Lalomanu beach is beautiful and the reef is very close to shore so you do not have to go far to see the coral and a wonderful variety of plentiful fish. Lalomanu is a marine reserve so the snorkelling is excellent (but still not quite as good as Fiji). There can be quite strong currents though so you do have to be careful at times and to be aware of the channels.

Nights were fairly quiet - not many people seemed to use the bar area (has a pool table and table tennis) as drinking in the dining area seemed to be a more popular. Of course you can always pop next door for a drink at Taufua's bar as it usually had a more late-night crowd.

We found the staff to be great - TJ in reception and the bar was helpful and friendly, Lydia was lovely & professional, and Joe was super-cool and obliging as well as being a wonderful dancer in fiafia night!

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at Litia Sini - the beach and snorkelling is excellent and the beachfront fales are charming (way nicer than Taufua) so we would definitely recommend it to others.

My friend and I stayed here for 7 nights and had a wonderful time. It was everything I thought and hoped it would be - stunning beach with fine white sand and turquoise waters at your feet, friendly warm family run place made us feel welcome from our arrival. We had an enclosed beachfront fale which gave unobstructed views and nice seabreeze - never got bitten by mossies despite not lowering my mossie net several hot nights. The communal dining room is lots of fun and a great way to meet people - while we stayed it seemed as if the Kiwi quotent was around 90% - popular with families and the 50+ 's but also some younger couples too. Everyone was very socialable and we had a lovely time. The snorkelling off the beach was just stunning - I brought my own gear and that was a good option. Even saw turtles, but I gather that was uncommon. The ablution block was just across the road at the back and was cleaned several times a day - tiled, and no problem, but don't leave your shower till just before dinner otherwise you may join a queue! Samoa generally was a superb destination for a really chilled out break - not commercially developed much, (happily) and felt very safe and friendly. Everyone speaks English, and taxis are thick on the ground in Apia and cheap. Just don't go thinking its flash, it ain't - but that's the charm. Would definately go again, and wouldn't hesitate to stay at Litia Sini.

This is probably the best stretch of sand in the world, and Litia Sini's Fale's top it off. For a real Samoan experience you have to try it. We have been back several times and the hospitality and the fabulous beach never change. Even at nearly 8 months pregnant, the sheer experience of waking up on your grass mat staring at the sun rising over Nu'utele Island is amazing. The snorkelling here would rate as close to the best in the world ( Only the Maldives is unbeatable!) and the coral formations are spectacular. Litia Sini's is a family owned group of open air fales with a clean communal shower block and a open air dining fale, as well as a bar with telly, pool table etc. With 3 home cooked meals included it is unbeatable value. It is only a short walk to the village and the local women there will invite you to their various ceremonies and even invite you for their traditional Sunday lunch which goes all day! The beauty of this place is that it hasn't really been discovered by the outside world so is as close to tradition as you will get and that is what makes it so special...oh and the amzing beach!!!

My husband and I stayed here with our 14-month-old boy last week. It was bliss!
The staff were WONDERFUL. They went out of their way to help and assist all the time - in fact, the place felt like one big family. We only stayed there 3 nights but felt like we were leaving friends behind when we had to depart.
The fale's are basic but all have a light - we had a lockable one with a porch, which gave us a bit more space with a toddler running round. The fales are positioned on the sand right beside the beach - at first glance it can look a little crowded, but all the other people staying here were friendly and lovely (I probably wouldn't recommend this if you are after romantic privacy ; ).
The rate included meals and the food was superb.
There is also a games room with a pool table and table tennis.
The fiafia night which is held twice weekly was excellent.
