Lalalmanu Beach is beautiful and the best place to stay is Litia Sini. If you enjoy snorkelling, swimming and just kicking back enjoying the beautiful scenery this is the place to be.

I preferred these fales to the ones next door due to the deck which came in very handy when the weather turned stormy and we were able to take shelter in our fale without having to drag sand through the fale.

I would definately recommend the enclosed beach front fales, the are close but provide adequate privacy. For more privacy you can roll the sides and still enjoy the view of the surf.

Dinner and b'fast were included and were very good. I would problably skip on the cocktails thou....not that cheap and very bad. There is a local shop across the road that you can buy some basics and of course cheap Valima beer and water.

There are quite a number of fales so it did lack the intimacy of some of the smaller places we visited and the staff were reasonably attentive but not as much as some of the other family run fales we stayed at.

But if you are just there for the beach and a good place to rest you head in Lalamanu this is the place!

This is exactly what you want to have on Samoa! Perfect beach with your Fale right there on turquoise waters. Food is good, different and fresh every day. People look after guests, safe place. Enclosed beach fale is a must! Enjoy 2-7 nights, relax. Location is far southeast, expensive transport from the airport, get a rental car.

Weather good, very hot, only 2 days of rain during the day..mostly came at night. No leaks in our enclosed non beachfront fale. Has light plus fan and great wee porch with roll up flaps. I was travelling with my 15 yr so cheaper to take own snorkelling gear from NZ but check the gear before you leave as we had probs with the quality. Beaut beach ..many fish..lovely sand and clear water..Just like the photos. Food was simple..we took extra but didnt need it all.
Refill your water bottle for free from kitchen..no tummy probs..they sell lunch but its too dear..if they dropped prices by $10-15 Tala.. they would have more business ..menu looked lovely though. The fia fia night on Sat very proffessional and fun. No mosquitos but had nets anyway. Best to buddy up with other travellers for hiring a car as its about 1-2 hours to Apia and $ 80-100 Tala one way for taxi.
Ladies bathroom fine, clean and basic. Staff friendly and helpful, plus security staff at night. Would love to return..

My wife and I stayed at Litia Sini's for one night. Would have happily stayed there for longer however we were on a mission to travel both islands staying at different locations to get a good taste of what Samoa had to offer. Other places we stayed were Aggie Grey's resort, Tanu's beach fales (Savaii) and Hotel Millenia (Apia).

As already mentioned in other reviews the fales were clean and lockable with a small deck in front. There weren't too many other guests at the time we stayed so it was nice and quiet but the boys who work there mentioned that just a few days before the place was almost full. Service was great. We were celebrating our 10yr wedding anniversary so they suprised us with a home made chocolate cake. To us this said quite a bit about these people considering they would've had to go out of their way as ingredience for a cake is not always readily available (or cheap) in a remote location.

One of the issues I had when I was looking at Lalomanu beach on line was which Beach fale outfit, out of the 3 or 4 available, to stay at? So here's my run down after being there. Litia Sini are a more expensive than the other places. They have the only lockable beach fales. Their part of the beach is definately the best kept however in saying this the whole beach is beautiful. The boys spend hours sweeping the beach in front of their fales to keep it looking picture perfect. Almost felt guilty walking on it :). Quite a few tourists from some of the other beach fales made their way down to our part of the beach (seeing how nice it was) to sunbathe and swim but the boys kindly asked them to return to their part of the beach. This was understandable given the effort and time they put into keeping it beautiful for their paying guests. There is a security guy that starts in the evening and keeps an eye on the place throughout the night. There are quite a few fales but not all have a direct view of the water. Good to book ahead and ask for one at the front. The meals were fine, they weren't flash but it was good food!

The only very small negative I can think of about these fales, and I only realised this after staying at other beach fales in Savaii, was that although the deck/porch was nice and handy during the day... when you're inside the fale lying on the bed it kind of seperated you from the beach and water. With the other beach fales we stayed at it was so awesome to wake up, role over and be looking right at the water a few steps away.

Happy to help with questions you might have.

To give you an idea of how clean this place is maintained, they rake the beach three times a week! They obviously don't need to go to that extent, but it goes to show the care that they put into this place.

This is the best place in Lalomanu, hands down, and a fantastic South Pacific get-away. If you just wanted to relax, spend the whole week here.

Meals were excellent, with basically buffet-style, several dishes available at each meal. The first night we arrived was a Saturday, so it was Fia Fia night complete with roast pig! What an awesome start!

From there, we just hung out, snorkeled 25 meters from our Fale, and enjoyed the Pacific sun. Fales are nice, with fan, mosquito net, and veranda, and come with a lock.

Liked Best: Food, Cleanliness, Best Location in Samoa
Liked Least: VERY tough to get to (expensive taxi or 2+ hours bus ride!), Bathrooms can be better, at 100 Tala pp/per night, there are cheaper places out there.
