“Well worth while”

If you can take your own snorkelling gear, do. We visited at low tide & waded out. Best snorkelling spot we experienced. Good value & the owners are very nice.

“Snorkelling worth a look”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 29, 2013

Great to have a reasonable snorkelling location so close to the middle of Apia. It costs 4 tala each and getting out to the drop off was a bit of a challenge due to shallow water so I would recommend aiming for high tide. The drop off (marked by a big stick) goes down to 15 - 20 metres and the clarity of the water is fantastic. Worth worth a look if you are in Apia

“Very beautiful snorkeling”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 17, 2013

The snorkeling was great, though wading out is tricky because the water is so shallow but there is coral everywhere. Try floating on your stomach if you can. Also, we rented snorkels and masks from the reserve. One of them worked great, the other leaked. You'd be better off using your own!
We really enjoyed ourselves. The fish aren't shy at all, they'll let you get very close.

“Lovely Clear Waters”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 14, 2013

Great for snorkelling, clearer waters than I had seen on the island with good drop off point. Not that many different types of fish but still nice to see.

“Fun fun fun”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 26, 2013

Wow this beach was so nice ! I would differently wear handles or something on your feet when walking onto the beach as it is very ruff under your feet! It was so much fun seeing all the fish and relaxing on the beach in the hot weather. Would go again for sure !
