My family went to dinner and show. We got the dinner but no show. We asked the hosts about the show and they just said there was nothing. We asked to have our money back but they were very rude about it. We won't be going back in a hurry.

Many people ask about dining and clubbing in Apia and this is somewhere quite out of the ordinary. Maliu Mai is situated close to the Maketi Fou (food markets) so very close to Apia. It offers a mixture of Samoan and traditional western and Asian cuisine, all cooked superbly and very reasonably priced.
There is entertainment every night of the week from a traditional Samoan FiaFia, to a Fa'afafine (drag) show and there is a mixture of Polynesian and western bands on other nights. Each Saturday the new Samoa Saturday Night Live is filmed there and the place really comes alive.
Maliu Mai is a true Samoan experience with the clientele being 50% Samoan and 50% expats and tourists so you really are mingling with the locals.
There is an extensive range of bar drinks at great prices. Maliu Mai is an inexpensive fantastic experience not to be missed.
They will also cater for special occasions if booked in advance.
