After about an hour and a half we arrived at Sea Breeze at 3am from the airport. Chris and his staff were there to meet us and a plate of sandwiches and fruit in our room which was greatly appreciated. We hired a car as the resort is quite isolated and the next resort about 45 minutes away. We did walk to To Sua Ocean trench which is well worth a visit and a lovely swim once you get down the ladder. Chris was helpful with sight seeing tips and car hire. The staff were excellent and very friendly. Our room had air conditioning which we didn't use as the fan and opening the louvre windows was enough. The hammock on our deck was lovely to spend an afternoon in listening to the waves. The beach was a small horse shoe bay with a little sand only at low tide. You could walk up the drive and along to another bay. The food was excellent with breakfast being a fruit platter with mainly apple, orange and banana, fruit juice and then a cooked or continental breakfast of your choice followed by tea/coffee. Would have liked to have a little more island influence but were able to pick up some drinking coconuts at a stall down the road and after being stored in our fridge thoroughly enjoyed by us. Our bed was very comfortable and the bathroom with larva flooring just great. The room was serviced daily with plenty of tea, coffee, milk and water bottles - you could drink the water there to. The kayaking with peek a boo bottoms were a lot of fun although not much coral or fish to see. The snorkelling gear was also complimentary and in good order.

Room Tip: A room away from reception towards the end of the resort quieter and better views.

My husband and I stayed four nights at Seabreeze at the end of our 2 week stay in Samoa. From the moment we arrived everything was perfect. Even before we arrived Wendy stayed in e-mail contact with us and gave us the best directions for getting there as we were driving. Once there, Chris and all the staff were fabulous. Nothing was ever a problem. We stayed in the honeymoon villa which was gorgeous. We are both quite well traveled and we both felt that this was the cleanest and one of the nicest rooms we had ever stayed in. The attention to detail everywhere throughout the resort was amazing. A lot of resorts and hotels show signs of wear and tear, not Seabreeze. The restaurant was lovely and the food was better than all the other resorts we had stayed at. The staff made great cocktails and the great local beer, Vailima, was served in a stubbie cooler which to Aussies was a big bonus! The beds, pillows and sheets were all first class. We absolutely loved it. Thanks Chris, Wendy and team.

Room Tip: We stayed in the honeymoon villa which was AMAZING!! But if you are a light sleeper I would not reco...

My wife and I stayed here in the middle of June for five relaxing, wonderful nights. The resort is beautiful with the bungalows set out around the pool area. The rooms are quite spacious and always very clean. The bed is extremley comfortable and listening to the waves crash onto the beach is a great way to fall asleep. We never used the air conditioning, just the louvered windows left open.

The restaurant is lovely with a large selection to cater for all tastes and the Friday night Fai Fai night is worth staying for. The staff are all very friendly and nothing is a bother. We were sitting on the beach and one of the staff carried deckchairs down for us without us even asking. The kayaking and snorkelling are great from the resort.

The only thing I would recommend is perhaps having your own vehicle as the resort is on the south side of the island and is somewhat isolated. Without a vehicle you are somewhat limited in where you can visit. We had a hire car and were able to visit Apia and the Palolo Deep Marine Reserve, the Lalomanu area, the To Sua Trench and other places at our own pace.

All in all, a perfect couples resort for a relaxing getaway.

We stayed for one week in an oceanview fale. .It was beautifully decorated, very comfortable with fan and aircon. Each fale has a huge verandah with a double hammock and a view of the pool and sea beyond. We also had the opportunity of looking at the beach view fale and also the honeymoon fale. I would recommend paying for a beachview fale if the budget allows. It had a great layout. The resort is tiny, with a maximum of 24 people at any one time. Children under 12 not allowed, and I personally wouldn't take teenagers either. They'd be bored silly. Chris and Wendy are excellent hosts, nothing is too much trouble. I had email communication with Wendy prior to arriving, and she was always bright, bubbly and helpful. It made us look forward to our holiday even more.
We had an overnight flight and arrived at 7.30am. I was exhausted as I can't sleep on a plane. Check-in is at 2pm, but Chris ensured that our room was cleaned at 10am when the other guests left, and we were in our room at 10.45am. Due to our early arrival, there was a very slight hiccup regarding our meal deal with Chris asking us to pay for breakfast. We pointed out that we wouldn't be getting breakfast on our last day, due to a 2am departure, and the problem was sorted out quickly and the rest of the holiday went perfectly. Look carefully at your flight times. Arriving at 5am after an overnight flight and then have a one hour and 45 minute mini bus trip to the resort, and then have to depart at 2am for a 6.15am flight back home was not fun and I wouldn't do it again.
Food was excellent. Breakfast was included in the tarrif. It started with a fruit platter which was brought within minutes of sitting down. Then you had a choice of approximately 7 items which was cooked to order and arrived within 15 minutes. Juice and freshly brewed coffee or tea completed the meal. It was more than enough but if you like the idea of a buffet where you can eat heaps then perhaps this isn't the place for you. We were never hungry after breakfast. We had purchased a meal deal which gave us 30 Tala each for lunch and 60 Tala each for dinner. We always went over as we like our food but the bill at the end of our stay was very reasonable.
The ribs on the menu were suburb, with no fat what so ever. They also had pizzas on the weekends which were delicious. Local beer was $3.20 Aud which was very cheap. We drank the tap water which was rain water and tasted exactly the same as our good Aussie water.
We noticed one couple buying bottled water but it wasn't necessary.
We swam, snorkeled at the resorts private beach and read our books. Apart from walking to the village which is just 5 minutes away, there's nothing to do. The only entertainment is on a Friday night. This is when the lovely staff sing and dance for you. They are a very proud people with wonderful singing voices. It was a great evening so try and plan your stay to include Friday. Apart from that, there's no entertainment. No tv, clock radios or other disturbances and we loved it. This is the type of resort that would appeal to anyone who wants to basically do nothing but relax, enjoy excellent food ,swim, read and catch up on your sleep.
There's an excellent masseuse on site. She brings the table to you and you have your massage on your verandah. Well worth it.
Chris organised a tour for us. He uses the same 2 brothers and another man who transfer you to and from the airport. They're also the tour guides if you want to book a tour of the island. We enjoyed a full day leaving at 8.45am and returning at around 5pm. Matt gave us informative rundown on the island and its people throughout the day. We really enjoyed his company so invited him to have lunch with us which we paid for.
The resort is on the south east coast of the island, a good hour and a half from the airport. So we had a look around Apia on the day of our tour. Quite a few people had hired cars, but it's not really necessary unless you're planning to go from resort to resort. We went there to relax and we achieved it. Highly recommended.

Room Tip: They're all good as the resort is tiny. We had fale 7. If the budget allows, I'd choose a b...

Great start with excellent communication from Wendy via email. The accomodation was very comfortable with well layed out units. Great facilities with a lovely pool and views over the reef. The staff were very obliging and helpful and a pleasure to deal with. Chris the owner was a very helpful and friendly host even though he is Australian! Lovely restaurant area with consistently superb food . Overall seemed very good value for money. We had a wonderful stay and would throughly recommend this resort. We would be very happy to stay again..

Our week long stay at Seabreeze was perfect for us wanting to just relax and chill away from the cold of home and pressures of work. The fale was very comfortable with a fantastic view of islands, reef and the ocean. A real bonus was the fantastic food prepared and served by Sili and his hard working team. Staff were personable and very hospitable. FIFA night on Friday was a real experience not to miss.
Our thanks to the people of the locale villages, Aufaga, Vavau and Lepa for the relaxation and friendliness during our walks and conversations. While this resort may be a little road trip from the airport it is so worth the trip. Just do it. Thanks Chris.

Room Tip: The number of rooms is limited but this is a strength of this resort. All rooms are excellent and th...
