I booked this place via the internet months ago - primarily because of its location and price point.
We’d booked one of the small fale’s with its own bathroom and a fan which was evidently perfect for our needs.
What struck me when we drove up was how much pride the staff had in the place. The staff were friendly beyond measure, the grounds were immaculately kept and the rooms presented perfectly.
We had dinner at the restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed what was on offer. Prices were very reasonable and the best bit, we pre ordered which meant it was ready for us at a time we specified.
Breakfast was included in our stay. It was very basic consisting of toast with jam, bananas/mango and coffee/tea. Some more options would have been amazing but it was free so I shouldn’t complain.
Being located next to a local village came with it some elements which would appeal to some while not to others. The most notable for me was the quantity of chickens exploring the grounds. Whilst I do love chickens (and the baby chicks were cute) I’m not a massive fan of the roosters going crazy at 3am. With that in mind, if you’re like me, either have an early night, bring ear plugs or find an alternative venue.
All in all, a great choice and a place I’d like to return to. More
