“Fantastic for any first timers”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 19, 2013

$5 tala per person. Heads up the Samoan guide will charge $20 tala for you to take photos of him while he risks his life throwing coconut husks into the holes with precise timing for your enjoyment. He gets extremely wet for your benefit. Give him a break and pay the money! You won't regret it.

“Spectacular but be careful of being ripped off”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 12, 2013

These blow holes and fueled by the sea - as the waves come in they force the water throw a small hole creating a spout of water. These get up to 20m high. They're very impressive. When you arrive they will charge you 5 Tala each to go through to see them. A guy may even jump on the back of your Ute carrying coconuts to throw into the blow hole. Once you drive up to the blow holes do NOT park after the charge for parking sign whatever your guide says, this is a scam - he insisted we parked after this sign (you cna easily park before it) and then after we'd seen the blow holes demanded an extra 20 tala for parking. We weren't the only tourists who got asked for this so don't get caught out.

“make sure its high tide”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 28, 2013

WOW this was scary but cool- it was high tide, the waves were scary and massive and we could feel and hear the power of the force of water through the blowholes from the shoreline. The young man that was throwing coconuts into the blowholes deserves danger money...well worth a visit
