This brand new brew pub was just getting up and running when we visited Banos. Anyone who has traveled in Ecuador knows that good beer is hard to come by, so we were lucky to find this little gem of a pub. Tim, the Braumeister, brews the beer nearby and we had the pleasure of enjoying some of the first batches of Virgin Veil Pale Ale, LLama's Breath Belgian and Strombolian Stout, all three of which were excellent! We loved the beer so much, we went there everyday for our "happy hour" during our 4 day stay in Banos. Jason, an experienced cook and the pub's co-owner, was just finalizing the pub's menu, but served us up free snacks of fried camote chips and popcorn. There is plenty of seating upstairs for dining, in addition to the bar and seating on the first level. Best of all was the service by Christian, who tends the bar. He was very friendly, an excellent bartender and apparently has alot of experience in tourism/hospitality service as well, as he spoke very good English. We would highly recommend this pub to anyone visiting Banos!
