“A lovely walk”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 8, 2013

A short walk, yet it is interesting as the terrain changes and it is lovely to see all the huskies at the start of the walk. I would have loved to go sledding, but there wasn't enough snow yet.

“Beautiful view”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 8, 2013

Easy to get to which made it a little crowded but it was worth seeing. The time of day affects the colour of the water - so many reflections to be seen. Be prepared for very muddy boots as the peat bogs make it very muddy.

“Day Hike to Glacier Lake”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 17, 2013

This is a day hike through the Peat Bogs past the small lakes created by beaver dams up to the natural Emerald Lagoon. The color comes from the silt from the rocks being ground by the glacier.

“nice spot, too popular :)”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 11, 2013

The emerald lake is lovely, but maybe a bit too popular. It's an easy hike from the parking lot. Can get very muddy. Better go in the afternoon to spot beavers on your way back.

“Beautiful Place”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 27, 2013

Well worth the effort to see - a beautiful lake surrounded by snow capped mountains with superb riverine scenery en route. Dramatic mountains and nice lakeside trails. You could sit for hours watching the lake and its surroundings as the sky changes with varying weather conditions. Easy to get to with good mini bus conections t the nearby lodge which has a cafe.
