We spent a day doing numerous things including visiting the Penguin rookery (you go there on a zodiac boat and stay on it while the boat goes right to the shore) as well as going hiking on nearby islands. There were literally hundreds of penguins - magellans and gentoos were the two predominant types but there was also one lone King penguin who had lost his way from his group and ended up on the island with the others. We watched these quirky birds for nearly an hour as they played, fished for food, swam and socialized.
