Mostly positives: convenient location, excellent condition, nice common areas including small bar on first floor, card table and sitting areas on second floor (with two free access PCs and wireless), game tables on third floor. Breakfast is more than adequate. Rooms are modern and in great condition. Front desk staff is very friendly and accommodating. Lots of small shops and restaurants nearby, many within easy walking distance.

Few negatives: guests can be noisy, but things quiet down at sunset; the Wi-Fi is somewhat gimpy and is near useless from you room.

Would highly recommend.

We stayed here on our first night in El Calafate before heading to a more rural setting next. This hotel is extremely reasonably priced relative to many of the other hotels in the town yet
1) Is in a great location
2) The staff are exceptionally friendly
3) Rooms are very clean
- we wouldnt hesitate recommending this hotel

What a great place! Far exceeded my expectations, as did El Calafate. This hotel is convenient to the center of town, is clean and well kept, and the staff is excellent. Pablo, the desk clerk, handled everything from tours, to transportation, to information and recommendations in the town. Included breakfast, great coffee. I highly recommend this hotel, you will not regret it.

Note to owner: whatever you are paying Pablo, it's not enough! He is excellent!!

Room Tip: Better view from back of hotel

This was a great little hotel
Strictly non-smoking
If you are doing the glacier trip the day after arrival then book packed lunch BEFORE you arrive at hotel - we arrived late and had to buy dreadful lunch from local grocery store
Small rooms, good breakfast, very clean, garden outside
Very light at night of course, take an eye shield

We enjoyed staying at this hotel. Very clean with wonderful wood work all around. Breakfast was the typical argentine standard and good. It is about a 10 minute walk into center of town. Would stay here again!

Stayed at this comfortable hotel over Christmas 2013, and had a great stay. Pablo at the front desk was super helpful and friendly. The rooms are very clean, comfy king bed, spotless bathroom (jacuzzi tub and heated floor!), breakfast daily, lobby bar and lounge, and in walking distance to most everything in the central part of the town. Recommend this hotel for your El Calafate stay! Oh, and if you're planning to be here over any holidays and want to rent a car, reserve it 2-3 months out if you can.

Stayed 4 nights here and it was fantastic. Very beautiful and the staff was FANTASTIC! They helped us a lot and were so kind. Short walk to the Main Street so location is great. Would definitely stay here again!
