“Spectacular!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 1, 2013

Like Perito Moreno, getting up close with a glacier is a spectacular experience. Just the enormity of it, stretching for miles back to the mountains. Plus there's always (?) a few icebergs in the bay in front of it, that have broken off it, which have weird shapes and the deep bl;ue colour of compacted ice

“A Beautiful Glacier”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 27, 2013

We took a boat trip on the lake to see this and many other glaciers. It's a beautiful setting with many icebergs to see along the way.

“Todo Glaciares tour with Always Glaciers”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 26, 2013

A really easy way to see the Perito Moreno, Spegazzini, and Upsala glaciers, but you are with 300 other people. Weather can vary throughout the day so can be warm, rainy, windy, and freezing all at the same time. Upsala Glacier can only be seen from a distance on this tour and would have bee nice to get closer.

“An incredible experience”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 22, 2013

This day trip to Estancia Cristina which first takes you to the base of the Upsala glacier, the second largest in Argentina, is breathtaking. During a couple of hours your sail in a boat among icebergs to finally arrive at the Upsala glacier. It was a beautiful day and what an experience. The colour of the icebergs was so blue! After sailing as close as 100 meters to the glacier, we went around the mountain to the Estancia Cristina. At that place we embark on trucks that took us up the mountains with spectacular sceneries around us so that we could finally walk up to the top of the Upsala glacier. Breathtaking experience. The sun was there for us and showed the vibrant turquoise colour of the lake at the bottom of the 3 glaciers. Extraordinary!
