You won't find this trip advertised on the windows of all travel agencies on Av. Libertador. I found this only at Eurotur, Av. Libertador 1025.
Unless it has rained a lot the days before, reserve a day to visit this site, located between El Calafate and El Chaltén. If it rained, the terrain will be pure mud, and you can't take the whole course. With good weather though, this tour is not to be missed.
Our group was only six people, and walking through the badlands-like terrain was a blast. Don't expect too much of the dinosaur bones - they are mostly dark patches/stones in the soil, and not recognizable as bones. The petrified trees however are very beautiful and all over the place.
Extra kudos for the lunch bag, which was the best one of all three trips we had.
