They have a lamb barbecueing in the restaurant. Some customers were eating huge plates of meat - lamb, beef, chicken, sausages and ofal, others just had a dish of barbecued lamb which looked more manageable to us. There is also fish on the menu and a good wine list. Service was good. Nice and central on the main street.

We were recommended this restaurant by our cab driver. Saved it for the last night and were not disappointed. The place was packed making service slow but we were entertained by the one chef with a machete butchering and grilling everything to perfection. After having great steaks for 7 nights in a row at various places in Argentina and Peru we were not expecting to get blown away in this small casual restaurant. When our food came we each received 2 large cuts cooked to perfection. The steak (I believe a ribeye) was comparable to, if not better than what we had at Las Lilas in Buenos Aires at about 1/4 the price. It was seared perfectly on the edges with deep red throughout and incredible flavour, not masked by pepper corn sauces found at other resto's. After watching the chef butcher several lamb from the spic I wish we had room to try that too. We were too chicken to order the "mixed grill" as it has various meats delivered to your table on a small bbq but they looked quite delicious and portions were huge. I really think you couldn't go wrong with anything meat related on the menu.

Our group of 6 ate here after the Big Ice. We were crammed into a table for 4 when there were larger tables available. Translations on the menu are slightly off, but amusing. Large portions on main dishes, but the sides are a little skimpy. It took a while to get the attention of a server every time we needed something.

Rick's is not a luxury place, but the food was tasty and reliable. We got quick service and were pleased.

The service was really quick when there were about 10 tables full. The tables and cloths were pretty basic, but ok. Menu had some funny English translations, where they translated "beef" as "empty". The lamb was tremendous and quite a lot of it.
