“The natural beauty of Isla Victoria is enhanced by the rock drawings of the indigenous people and the unspoiled beaches.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 30, 2014

We toured Isla Victoria with an Abercrombie & Kent guide who identified the different plant life, described the island's colorful history, and helped us navigate the trails around the island. Our perfect ending came as we descended down to the beach, to see a bright yellow tent and a table set with soup, crudités and a chef grilling freshly caught fish. But nothing prepared us for the violinist strolling up the beach to play for us. After tunes including 'Amazing Grace' and 'Time to say Goodbye,' we were thoroughly in love with this grand island, Bariloche, Patagonia and, of course, A&K.

“Just "touristy" enough”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 26, 2014

The boat trip to Isla Victoria & Bosque de Los Arrayanes aboard the Cau Cau is well worth the time & cost, even if it means putting up with a tour guide yakking over a loudspeaker a bit too much & too loudly, leading a gaggle of eager tourists who follow like baby ducks. The view from the boat of lake & mountains is spectacular & we enjoyed the short hike on Isla Victoria, where we managed to stay ahead of the tour guide & group just far enough to feel as though we were actually alone on the island. The small restaurant/cafeteria on the island served surprisingly good food, too. The second stop on an island containing rare native trees not seen elsewhere in the world was quite interesting, & here we were fortunate to have an English-speaking guide give us what was essentially a private tour. The hour-long boat ride back was broken up by a raffle for a few prizes which people were excited to win. All-in-all, a trip worth taking.

“Amazing views from Lago Nahuel Huapi”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 8, 2014

We took a cruise by Turisur to visit Isla Victoria. When we arrived, the guide offered a small hike but suggested a longer one and we took it. The hike was very nice and the views from Lago Nahuel Huapi are awesome from the top.

“Nice”

Make sure the guide speaks a language you understand. Mine didn't and he kept some of the benefit and enjoyment away. Property/ island is pleasant.

“lovely treks”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 17, 2014

we took a cruise by Turisur that combined a trip to Bosque del arrayanas and this island. we were given a trail map and we took the red trail into the forests, and even wandered off on to the orange trail and the white trail which took us to the highest point in the island with awesome views. we then came down and went on the cerro bella vista blue trail-- we had to return the same way on this trail as the alternative path was closed. the yellow trail--coastal trail is pretty too--but was too sunny as the sun was blazing hot on Dec 10th when we visited

this is a lovely island and the trails are all great
