We found snow over there, even in September. For people who like to ski and have an amazing view around

A really quick and easy way to see the surrounding area. There is a free bus from the town center that runs to the chairlift up the mountain. There is a revolving restaurant up the top at about 1500m serving complete meals including some good wines. It's subject to weather conditions and you may find on a clear day it gets very busy. If you can get up and back early you might avoid the crowds.

well worth a trip for great views and photo ops!it costs very little but is a little outside bariloche town, however you can get the bus. Also have an icecream on the top and enjoy the wildlife

I took the cruise and visited the island. Great natural history and scenic views plus small hike.

We boarded the bus for Cerro Otto from downtown Bariloche. It seemed like a long ride, but it was all part of the experience. It was a windy day, not unusual for this area, so the gondolas were weighted down with concrete blocks. The extra weight helped; we had a smooth ride to the top. It was super windy on top, so we decided to spend our time having lunch in the rotating restaurant, an experience in itself (be careful where you step!). The apple strudel was wonderful.
