This is an outstanding resort, comparable to the finest we have been to anywhere. Not easy to get to, but worth the trip. It is a large sprawling facility with plenty to do in any season. We were there in October, a bit cool, but we kept busy hiking and roaming the property. It is nestled between 2 beautiful lakes.
Grand entrance opens to a nice lobby bar and out to the beautiful lake. Afternoon tea looks nice(we did not partake), dinner in either restaurant is very good. Breakfast is a feast.
Our Moreno suite was big with a nice balcony overlooking the lake with mountains in back. Large bathroom with tum you can look out while you soak. large shower with waterfall shower-head. King-size bed with the same view is a great good-morning.
Small, but adequate fitness center. Run the grounds weather permitting.
Indoor-outdoor pool is fun especially in cooler weather.More
