Unbelievable views from every spot on the property. None of the photos I have seen (professional or traveler) does justice to the incredible beauty of this one of a kind mountain and lake setting. There is a lot to do if you wish, or just sit in the resort itself and breathe in the tranquility of nature.

The Llao Llao is blessed with a splendid mountain and lake setting!

Its public rooms are grand and beautiful, capturing the magic of its location.
The service was excellent throughout.

Our room had a spectacular mountain view and was well-appointed, though quite small.

The facilities at the hotel are outstanding.

The only disappointment was with the quality of the cuisine... other than the breakfasts, our other meals here were less than expected.
The hotel needs to improve its culinary offerings as one is somewhat captive to dining here, as the hotel is a good 45 minutes from town.

Nonetheless, we were delighted to have had the opportunity to stay at this legendary hotel!

This hotel is a bucket list experience. The setting is from a story book, the hotel itself is amazing, the pool is fantastic, the food is great. If you get a chance once in your life, you should experience Llao Llao.
We also had the opportunity to fish with the hotel's fishing guide, Alejo, while we were there. He is undoubtedly the best fishing guide we have ever had, and we have had many. If you book a full day of fishing with him, he will feed you one of the best lunches of your life. He will also help you catch trophy trout in the lakes of Bariloche, and he knows a lot about the plants and wildlife of the area. He speaks excellent English. What an amazing experience!

Allways wanted to visit Bariloche in the Fall, but more than that.....Llao Llao in November is a dream come true. The views and walks of the hotel grounds and sorrounding lakes and mountains make time stop, although your credit card keeps counting!!!
The hotel is aprox 25 kms from the city, that is aprox 45 min drive.
.
The room is small, but cozy and it has NO AIR CONDITIONING (at least the old wing of the hotel)
Staff is very well prepared. Breakfast is a must, to sit, sip coffee for more than one hour with views you will remember until you die!
Please try the egg omelet, freshly prepared in front of you by Alejandra....she is Numero UNO!! Also, if you are on a diet, try the sweet croissants, argentinian facturas and a fresh waffle with raspberries and chocolate drizzle.

Patagonia restaurant inside the hotel is good for a meal or two, but Bariloche has great restaurants. YOU HAVE TO try the Trucha empanadas from Patagonia restaurant.

Room Tip: try to get the NEW wing of the hotel

We stayed at Llao LLao in October 2017 and had a lovely stay. The pool and fitness cent er were great. The Breakfasts were the best we had in two weeks in South America. Two things we didn't like was the expensive food and they tried to charge us for bottled (no gas) water in the room.

Go to Patagonia Brewery during the day for a spectaular view and the Italian restaurant down the road.

Room Tip: Moreno Lake view rooms are devine
