We would have gone every night we were in town if the resto had been open. Cosy atmosphere, great, personalized service, and the food...You will need reservations; don't think about it, just do it...

The owners are there to make you feel at home. The menu is not big, but enough to have a taste of traditional Argentinian food. The empanadas with red wine were awesome, same the bread with wild mushrooms. The place is super cozy and it feels like an old Pulperia. Very well decorated. Also super kids friendly.

Many restaurants are great but after a while they rest on their success and become mediocre. We are so happy that La Salamandra is as good as always!

We can't wait to go every time we are in town. Go hungry! You should try to experience the empanadas, the pan con hongos (home made bread with mushrooms) and of course the ojo de bife (steak). Need to say more?

Our visit was prompted by the excellent reviews on Facebook. This small restaurant lived up to expectations and more! The food was delicious, we chose the empanadas, mushroom bruschetta and the steak.....Renata advised us on quantities, which were just right. The house wine was also excellent. If they had been open on Monday night we would have eaten there a second time as this was the best meal of our trip and we had some lovely meals! Reservations advised, a taxi from town takes 10 minutes and costs around 30 pesos (£4).

Geronimo and Renata have created a masterpiece. The food is a great change from the usual Argentine fare. Make sure to make reservations because the locals will pack this place on any night.
