“Pleasing Atmosphere With Food to Match”
Reviewed July 17, 2013

This restaurant is about 10 minutes outside of Bariloche but we were glad we made the trip. Entering the restaurant gives one a nice homey feeling. You are greeted and provided a welcome drink. We walked around for about five minutes in a nice banquet room with a fireplace. Since we had eaten steaks the previous two nights our group of four ate the sea bass and it was very well prepared, nice and moist.

Don't let the waiter push you into La Garde wines. We did and were disappointed. I saw another review with the same comment so this alerted me the owner/manager is pushing La Garde. There are much better vineyards in Argentina. All in all we enjoyed our meal and would return again.

“Overall good”
Reviewed April 20, 2013

We came here at the recommendation of our hotel, so probably wouldn't have chosen it otherwise. Welcome drink on arrival and friendly service throughout in a lively setting. A mix of locals and tourists. The waiter recommended a cheaper malbec than what I was originally going to order and we were happy with his recommendation.

We ordered the bife de chorizo and the lamb: the bife was cooked to perfection, but the lamb (which was recommended) was overdone to our liking, which was the let down of the night. Ice cream for dessert was enjoyable.

A good choice, though I rate Las Morillas much more highly.

“Great atmosphere”
Reviewed March 30, 2013

We enjoyed the decor of this restaurant. We were greeted with a welcome drink while we waited for our table. One steak was overcooked and they immediately brought out another steak cooked to our satisfaction. The lamb dish was terrific. If you have room, try the desserts - they are delicious! I would definitely recommend.

“Good enough for Bill Clinton”

Great Patagonian beef, lamb, pork. Only disappointment was the stuffed trout. The service was great, interesting Patagonian decor. Varied and interesting menu. Definitely worth the trip.
