Stayed here for three nights before slumming it down to Ushuaia. And I have to say it was perfection for what we wanted, some R&R, scenic view, beautiful breakfast and a good base for spotting a couple of places.

The things that separates this hotel from a myriad of others are:

1) it's location on the right side of the road give uninterrupted views and access to the lake.

2) The jacuzzi in the room, with the most scenic of panoramas.

Spend a little more to stay at a place you will remember forever, even if you have to slum it on Route 40 as a result.

Room Tip: ask for a room down the hill, closer to lake shoreline if possible. We got lucky and landed the very bottom one. The noise of jacuzzi from other rooms is obvious. But you can't begrudge other people their enjoyment.

We had a wonderfull time at this hotel. We stayed in a suite facing the lake. What an outstanding view... The suite was great, very spacious, the bathroom had a gacuzi and was very large and comfortable. The design of the suite was very nice and modern.
Wewere very sorry to leave this place.

Lirolay Suites was one of the most peaceful, comfortable places we have ever stayed and we immediately felt at home with such great service from staff. The views were absolutely stunning, and the room was very spacious, clean, and well furnished. We had a blast playing cards on the deck overlooking the lake, and when it was time to explore, staff were very helpful in arranging cabs, providing maps, etc. Lirolay is within walking distance of a small grocerery and some excellent restaurants. One tip - take a taxi instead of the bus, especially with luggage. Might be a bit more expensive, but after a few misadventures, we learned that a few extra pesos was worth sparing ourselves the stress of trying to flag a bus or holding on once on board!

We ended up extending our stay, and therefore enjoyed both the smallest room and one of the larger rooms of the 12. Location is ideal, 7 K fom town center and right on the lakeshore. Highlights include: nice breakfast spread, fabulous views, and good service. As well, the restaurant across the street, El Patacón, is excellent. We also drove only a few kilometres to the super mercado for wine, cheese, salads, and empanadas for in-room dining.

Room Tip: Junior suites seem to be the best value, actually even better than lakeside room.

WOW! Lirolay suites is an unbelievable beautiful property situated in the most desirable area of Barlioche. We had the pleasure of staying in the junior suite for 5 nights and it was one of our most memorable adventures during our adventure in Argentina. Each room is equipped with a fireplace, jacuzzi tub with overhead shower and a super comfy bed. The views from the living area and bedroom were out of this world!! I woke up each morning to be greeted by a beautiful blue lake and fantastic mountains. The complimentary breakfast is sooooooo good. Pastries, toast, ham and desserts so good......I get hungry just thinking about it.
To top it off, the three men that work at Lirolay made our experience EXTRA special. I will truly miss Francisco, Juan and Jose. They were so fun to talk to and made us feel completely at home. They were professional, knowledgeable, friendly...and a lot fun. If we ever return to Barlioche, I will surely visit Lirolay.
