Stayed here for 1 night at the superior room- so beautiful! The room has a panoramic window facing the lake, and is very sunny and bright. The bathroom is brand new and very comfortable.
It's one of the only places we found safes in the rooms.
The next time we came, they had only the regular room (30 pesos difference) and it was a little more than a dump... Everything was old and looked bad, and also the bed wasn't as comfortable as the one we had in the superior room. My advise - for this minor difference, stay at the superior room, it's worth every cent!
Breakfast was very good - omelets, pancakes, fresh breads, dulce de leche (of course...) etc.
On our second stay they started cooking in a 30 minutes late, and we didn't have time to eat before leaving to the bus station... :(
The staff is very nice and helpul.
They are located in Salta street, which is VERY steep and was hard to climb on with our bags.

Room Tip: For private rooms - ask only for the superior room! Those 30 pesos will make a HUGE difference.

As a middle aged backpacking couple my wife and I had three requirements of a hostel. That it be clean, have a double room with an en suite bathroom and be as reasonably priced as possible. This hostel met this and more. I was very impressed with the kitchen and the enthusiasm/helpfulness of the staff. Al positive things mentioned in the reviews are indeed the case.

I found this on Trip Advisor .

The hostel itself has a great infraestructure with jacuzzi, terrace, pool table, social area, big flat screen TV where you can watch sports and everything. The kitchen and dining room are really big. The stove is a big industrial one, so the guests can cook fairly fast.

The views of the hostel are looking to the Nahuel Huapi lake and these are just fascinating. The doorms have private bathrooms inside of them, this is the greatest feature for the guest's comfort I think.

The only thing to improve would be to incentivate some of the staff to smile to the guests and attend them in a litlle better way.

We booked in for 2 nights in a private double room after 5 months in dorms and camping. We stayed an extra night. The room was as good as many highly priced hotels with daily room cleaning and towels, etc. The view from the top floor I'd say is one of the best around with large windows helping you see across the lake. The jaccuzi also has a great view and there is reasonably priced massage also available if you want it. Of course, it's not a 5 star hotel so some of the decor in the room might be slightly lower than you might find in more expensive places, but you're certainly not paying 5 star prices. The staff were more than helpful and very friendly. Free breakfast included scrambled eggs, pancakes, cereal, french bread, juice, tea/coffee and hot chocolate. Some free breakfasts are simple cereal and toast and no drink so it's nice to get a good selection. I would definitely stay here again if I visited Bariloche.

We really loved this hostel. The breakfast is superb and the jacuzzi was magnificent. The rooms are cleaned every day and the staff is really friendly. Perfect view over the lake. Go there!

We really did not enjoy our stay here, inconsiderate people banging doors all through the night, cold, sterile corridors with lots of rooms. Friendly enough reception staff but in such a large place, no one knows your name.

The rooms were not particularly clean, especially the bathroom. We stayed in a double and the sheet barely fitted over the edge of the bed, never mind tucked in over the mattress. Ir was also very expensive for what we got.

Saving grace the scrambled eggs and pancakes for breakfast, certainly not the best breakfast in Argentina as there was only cornflakes or bread other than that but it was certainly a positive feature here!
