Last December we spent 2 nights at Hotel 3 Mosqueteros. The hotel itself is full of charm and its lakeside location could not be more perfect. The owners were not only welcoming but also very generous with us. We booked a standard lake view room and were upgraded to a suite without even asking for it. The day after we left the hotel to continue our bike ride we found ourselves stranded at a small hosteleria that we did not like at all. When we called 3 Mosqueteros to inquire about spending another night there Juan the hotel manager came to pick us up! We recommend it highly!

Room Tip: Take the lakeview room if you can

One of the original hotels in Villa Angostura, located on the lakefront a little out of town. Michael the owner is originally from Belgium and extremely helpful. We had an early flight from Bariloche to catch and he arranged an earlier than normal breakfast for our group of 4. Restaurants close by and deserves to be better known. Recommended.

Room Tip: Great views from lakefront rooms.

Fantastic setting right on the water’s edge near the entrance to Arrayanes National Park but this means that is 1-2km from the main commercial area, restaurants etc.; the hotel has its own restaurant. This place has a lovely sitting area with a view over the lake, its own outdoor heated pool, a small beach and a pier into the water. Reception area very cramped but staff friendly and helpful. Room medium-sized but clean comfortable and good mattresses. You can pay extra for an all-out lake-view room. Breakfast was well stocked and they even allowed us in 30 mins early to accommodate an early start.
