I felt like I was in a movie. This is not so much a full hotel but almost like a mix of a bed and breakfast and a hotel. The property is absolutely beautiful. The views from the rooms, the back deck, the pool are stunning. We would plan our nights around the sunset so we could have a glass of wine on our balcony and watch the sunsets from our balcony. The staff is super helpful and very friendly. They really make you feel like you are part of the family. This is one of the few places I have been where I really did not want to leave. Special thanks to Marcos for all his help and for making sure we were always comfortable.

If you are anywhere near Bariloche or Villa la Angostura - stay here! You won't regret it!

Room Tip: If you want something, just ask. They don't really have proper lunch menus or anything like that, but whenever we wanted a sandwich or a snack they were more than accomodating.

Beautiful Italian inspired villa with wonderful views, decoration & excellent accommodation. Villa La Angostura is a much better location than Bariloche - quieter. We enjoyed our stay and Marcos is a wonderful & friendly host.
A couple of suggestions:
1. You need to make people feel welcome when they arrive - the 3pm check in seems important to you than your guests.
2. The quality of the food presented in the restaurant is average for the price. We had excellent food experiences across Argentina to compare & feel very qualified to comment. Your chef has no idea on how to bake pane cotta - it was like rubber. We ate in the restaurant on both nights and the quality was better on the second night.

I stayed with my spouse for 4 nights.it is located right on the lake & run by most hospitable family.
they make you feel at home as soon as you arrive.it is a small boutique/luxurious hotel ,which is excellently managed. the meals they serve are excellent. we are vegetarian & had no problem
with meals. would like to thanks Lillian , Marcos , Nicolie & Julie(for excellent wine recommendation ).T hanks for making our stay comfortable & enjoyable. we had room with balcony & I enjoyed looking at almost full moon & stars in the clear dark sky, the thing I love doing most. Special thanks to Marcos who went out of his way to help with reservation in villa Traful & for great communication before arriving at the hotel with many little questions.

Room Tip: room with balcony is great to enjoy the view.

We recently spent 5 nights at this precious place. All rooms have a magnificent view of the lake and snow covered Andes, though some also have a balcony. The 3 course dinner is wonderful and the staff couldn't be more helpful. They even gifted us the best birthday cake ever! They located guides for us as needed, a doctor, restaurants, recommended excursions. The heated pool is an absolute delight at the end of a physical day. Really, it's a perfect place.

Room Tip: the junior suites do not have a balcony, but they have a large window with french doors and comfortable chairs, so it feels as though you are on a balcony. The views are amazing.

We spent only one night here at Luma, but the staff were top notch, and the views were the greatest I have ever experienced in a hotel. The whole experience was only made better by the indoor-outdoor pool, and the sound of the lake waves coming through our open window in the evening as the sun set. This place is out of this world in terms of ambiance!
