Our group of four arrived for lunch at 1PM, were the first customers there, and got a wonderful window table. We left at 3:30PM. It worked out fine for us- relaxing and pleasant. We ordered the vegetable strudel with mushroom cream sauce (strudel de verduras)- fabulous. Very rich, but one of the best dishes ever. Our second dish was the venison stew (guiso de ciervo), which we weren't crazy about. My husband loved the honey beer! Our friends ordered bife de chorizo (a thick, large slab of beef) "a punto" (medium rare), but sent it back to be cooked more thoroughly. The salad was fine. The gnocchi was as well, but the tomato sauce was not up to their expectations. The tablas (trays of cold cuts, cheeses) served all around us were gorgeous... works of art. Our waiter was friendly and helpful. It took well over half an hour to get the bill, but we weren't in a hurry. If we had it to do over, we would have shared the strudel and a salad rather than the venison.

Went here with my wife and two kids after reading the trip advisor rating. Huge mistake, the food bordered on just gross. The tabla was not goid at all and the empanada I had to find inner force to choke down half of it. The only thing that i could eat were the fries from my kids lunch. And stay away from the honey beer its like drinking a jar of honey. There are way better options than this in the area.

A must! If you plan to visit San Martin de los Andes, you have to stop at this place. It´s simply perfect. Service, food, beer, atmosphere...all. Forget about the cost...it´s owrth every penny. I strongly recommend the "picada", the homemade beer is excellent.

We came almost at the opening of the restaurant, so we were first to seat. Ordered draft beer, which was fresh and tasty. Right away, skipping entrees, ordered mains. In between got a complementary stuffed bans, good and testy. Then we waited for between 30 to 40 min for mains.... I ordered steak and my wife traut. Well,my wife's fish was superb, but my steak ( medallions) one was well done while ordered Mid and other just overdone up to not eatable. Taking into account the class of this establishment, this is just not acceptable.
Still they get 4 and not 3 due to beer and fish.
