When we took a taxi from the bus station to the posada we suddenly thought: "where the hell are we" when he took us to the outskirts of Puerto Madryn. The posada is the last street in the south of the town before the Patagonian Steppe starts.
The hotel is very nice and green. The swimming pool is nice and warm and the staff are very friendly. Only the receptionist during daytime speak English, the others only speak Spanish.
The hotel is bad situated (40 minutes walk to the city center) but in a nice neighbourhood. The hotel has free bikes (not the best) but you have to reservate them in advance. Breakfast is standard but good. Rooms are clean and light but a bit small. Shower is in the bath.
