Owner description: The technical and structural features of our vehicles, allows the combination of three different circuits in the Northwest of Argentina in one day. The first one, the "Road to the Clouds" following the famous railway track of the "Train to the Clouds" through the "Quebrada del Toro" (Bull's Gorge) up to San Antonio de los Cobres. The second one goes through the Puna, along Route 40, up to "Salinas Grandes" (Salt Lakes) just between the border of Salta & Jujuy. And the third one, the downhill trip of Lipan to the picturesque village of Purmamarca, at the base of the well known "Mount of the Seven Colors". The circuit ends in Salta.

Have used Movitrack about 5 times now over the last 13 years..... They provide an excellent adventure style tour to many parts around Salta. Always had a laugh with the guides who bring a lot of fun to the day........recommend this!

Last year we had taken the train to the clouds and wanted to see more of the scenery and to go to the Salinas Grandes.

“You have to do it!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 5, 2012

This was the most fantastic day. We had been on the Tren a las Nubes the day before which covered the first part of the Movitrack journey . That was a great if not a long journey but if you can only do one, do Movitrack, There is nothing like being able to pop your head up through the roof and look around and/or take photos. Llama stew for lunch at a tiny little adobe village in the middle of nowhere was an added bonus as was the stop off at the salt plains. The Movitrack crew are very professional and very informative. I would do it again in a blink.

“A wonderful tour”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 23, 2011

We went on two tours with Movitrack , The Safari To The Clouds and the Cachi tour. We thoroughly enjoyed both tours. The guides and drivers were very friendly and professional. The guides made the tours very informative, interesting and most of all fun! The food provided was very tasty. The bus had great facilities (much better than travelling in a minivan!), with the open top and the bathroom on board it made the long day very comfortable. I highly recommend traveling with Movitrack. It is worth paying a bit more for this high quality tour and bus.

“great experience and very good guide”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 19, 2010

Movitrack offers basically the same tour as other operators, but this with a great outdoor vehicle wich allows you to open the roof and have a safari-like experience!

Starting at 6 am, ending 22pm, the trip is quite long, but offers a lot to see in the mountains - the highest point visited is 4178m above sealevel - non-mountaineers will probably have never been higher on ground.

The guide was funny and knew a lot about the history, geography and nature of the places visited.
Breakfast, lunch, tea and beverages are all included in the tour.

Overall, a great trip worth the money. Recommendable!
