Excellent B&B located only a five-minute walk away from the main square in Salta. From the moment we met Jorge, we knew we had made the right choice. Jorge and his wife are such genuine and lovely people, and it really made our trip to that region to be able to stay with a family who were so generous in heart and spirit. The room was comfortable and the breakfast lovely. As others have said, staying with Jorge and his wife is an opportunity to find out so much -- not just about the local area, but also Argentina in general. Highly recommended.

We are a couple from Holland and a french friend and we had a very nice time at Caseros 44 in january 2012! Jorge is a very kind and helpfull man and knows lots about history. It's really nice to talk with him! The fresh fruit-salad in the morning is a reason to come back! The location is nice and silent, nice room and nice garden.

This great B&B is only 7 streets away from the main square. It's close enough to all the main attractions while being in a nice and quiet neighbourhood.
The beds are very comfortable and and the room is spacious.
Jorge, the host, is a very informative and knowledgeable man, ready to help at any time.

Although the B&B doesn't have parking space, Jorge pointed us to the nearest car park, round the corner. We arrived a day before mother's day, a big festivity day in Salta and most shops are closed.
Jorge fetched our car on Sunday morning and parked it outside the B&B, ready for us.

He was kind enough to explain different historical facts about this lovely city while we were having breakfast.
Ask him about any restaurants and you will not be disappointed.
It's people like Jorge that made our holiday special.

Room Tip: Jorge recommends parrilla La monumental, the best steak house in Salta.

My friend and I showed up at Jorge's door upon arriving in Salta after a 30+ bus journey from Puerto Iguazu, we were very tired and longing for a shower. After reading all the great reviews on this site we were hopeful we'd be lucky enough to find a free room. Jorge had one ready for us right away and let us check into the room even though it was still quite early in the morning. He and his wife were ready to make us very comfortable. The location is really central in Salta and the amenities themselves are quite pleasant. As others have mentioned the breakfast was among some of the best I had in my 3 weeks traveling around Argentina. What really made this stay so memorable and wonderful, however, was the owners. Jorge is a fountain of knowledge of Salta and Argentina more broadly. He was more than willing to help us time and time again to organize our plans and to make honest and helpful suggestions. His wife was also very lovely and both of them were keen to chat and learn from us as well as to share with us about Argentina and themselves. As others said as well, they were willing to also just give you space and roam of the house as well. My friend and I were both sad to leave Jorge and his B&B.

Room Tip: One of the two rooms has a great patio off it that overlooks one of Salta's big attractions - th...

We found this place online after reading the reviews on Tripadvisor and we weren't disappointed when we arrived at this charming B&B. Jorge the owner was very welcoming and helpful. He made us feel right at home, even offering us milk when we had a night time craving. The rooms were big and clean, and breakfast was the best we had in Argentina. Jorge made hot chocolate especially for the 2 year old we had with us. A quiet location a couple of blocks from the town square.
Would definitely stay here again!

Sure you could go stay in a hotel but why? This B&B is amazing, comfortable and really a home way from home for the traveler. The owner (Jorge) and his wife host only a few guests at a time and do an amazing job at being available when you need them...and invisible when you're relaxing in the home. All the amenities that you might need, a great location only a few blocks from the main plaza and of course all of the inside information you might need on Salta or just Argentine life in general. What a gem!

My adult daughter and I stayed at this quaint, clean bed and breakfast for four nights.
Jorge, the owner, and his wife were kind, helpful and attentive hosts. They would
be available to serve our every need and yet "disappear" so that we often felt we had
the entire house to ourselves. We used their office, computer, phone....we used the
kitchen and relaxed in their dining room which overlooks a beautiful garden.....
It is located about a 10 minute walk to the center of town with many shops and eateries
in the area. Salta is beautiful and this B&B is a definite "home away from home".
You won't need a guidebook either.....Jorge knows everything about this area and is
happy to help you plan your stay.
