We visited in April, a low season in salta. The hotel is ran by a family: Ignacio and his son Francisco with great services. Francisco has great connection and informative on the tour and surroundings! The location is good with 3 blocks away fm main square. Facilities are original and you can get a good feel on authenticity.

We found this to be a welcoming and friendly place. The room was comfortable and clean. Pilar and Ignacio were helpful and informative, and we enjoyed our stay. I think the breakfast could be a little more imaginative and interesting.

Breakfast is basic but good (tasty medialunas, orange juice, cereals, yoghurt, tea, coffee and bread (beware: coffee and bread are not good, but that's the only thing))

Dorms come with comfortable beds, private bathrooms and big lockers to fit your whole big backpack.

The kitchen is good and may be used by guests.

Nice common area with sofa and computers that may be used at any time.

Good mixture in nationality and age of the guests. Everybody gets along very well.

Plus: excursions (mtb or 4x4/minivan can be booked in the hostel)

Enjoyed my stay very much :)

Las Rejas is a charming and authentic place en Salta, dorms are very quiet, four beds only, (and when I was there only two were occupied), we get a fresh towel every day. Good location, very central, but in a quiet street! Nice and easy to live in. I went twice!

Stayed here for 2 nights and very much enjoyed it. Friendly owner, clean, comfortable 4-bed dorms with en-suite shower. Fairly quiet while I was there which was nice. Good location a short walk from the main square. Breakfast was a real treat with cereal and sweet croissants. Would definitely recommend this hostel.

This is a nice place to stay that has a B&B section, and a considerably more affordable Hostel section. We stayed on the hostel side. The rooms were big enough for the 4 people they could hold, and had nice big lockers for each person. Each room also had a private bath to share between the 4 guests (has its pros and cons). The beds were very comfortable, the hostel was nice and clean, it was quiet at night, and the common area felt comfortable to hang out in.

Visiting Salta to travel on the Train to the Clouds. Had a good room which was lovely and quiet. The owner and his wife were helpful and provided us with plenty of responses to our questions. Breakfast was good and some good recommendations for eating out. It's also just far enough away from the main Bar and club district to walk back but not actually to hear any of the racket
