I dont usually bother reviewing places I have stayed, but this place really deserves a mention. Prices are fairly reasonable, the area seemed safe and quiet and the people were absolutely delightful.
The hostel itself is quiite a pretty place on the inside with a little covered outdoor patio where people socialise. The rooms were basic, but clean, with bright colours. There was a little cafe part where you could get sandwiches and drinks and breakfast was includes which was again basic, but adequate. What made this hostel for me was the friendliness of one of its members of staff. When I, remarkably stupidly, managed to get my padlock jammed shut on my locker, with everything I had inside, this man spent a good half an hour at 3 in the morning trying to open it for me. Knowing I was in a hurry the next day, he then called the locksmith at 8am the next morning to amke sure we could get it off early, and only after we had attempted taking the door off and many other drastic solutions. For personality and friendliness, this hostel wins hands down
