We walked 750 meters northwest to this 40 year old establishment. The neo classic exterior extends to the period doors which open to a banquet room featuring a large stained glass skylight and chandelier. We passed the clean restrooms in a hallway that opened to a beautiful dining hall of wooden tables and chairs, lined with period artifacts; old technology, memorabilia, and liquor and wine bottles.
A uniformed waiter seated us, presented menus, then brought a bread basket. We ordered from the daily 5 choice Menu del Dia; Roast Chicken, Melanesia Fish, then both had lettuce and tomato salad, red wine, and flan. Wonderful food, excellent clientele, quiet atmosphere, and attentive service. All for 405AP= $20.
