Lovely, brand-new hotel right next to Mesa-Gateway Airport. The bathrooms are awesome and the room design makes up for the tiny-ness of the rooms with peaceful, soothing decor. Rooms have a microwave and fridge and lots of charging stations. It seems quiet and peaceful, possibly because the hotel isn't full. There's an airport shuttle, but you have to pay $5 per day to leave your car at the hotel, and that price doubles after about 5 days. I'm really enjoying the room and bathroom. But do NOT attempt to eat at the Bistro here. I've eaten at many Courtyard Bistros, but this one served very rubbery (inedible) chicken and forgot the corn in my salad. My salad was served without dressing and the waiter said he had some offerings, which did not include the dressing that was advertised to come with the salad. Bizarre. After ordering the typical, high-priced wine, we asked for a second glass each to take to our room. The glass I was given was covered with lipstick stains, so I asked for a different glass. The waiter took out another glass and just poured the wine from the dirty glass into the new glass. He then noticed the new glass was also filthy, and spent some time trying to find a clean glass. He finally found one and poured the wine from the two dirty glasses into it. Ugh. I would have preferred to see him toss the wine from the filthy glasses and pour me new wine. But, hey, at $15 a glass, why am I complaining? Bottom line: Stay here but skip the shuttle and park at the airport. And drive 1 to 10 miles to a real restaurant--skip the Bistro.

The property is new so it has a modern feel. The rooms were really neat looking- much different than the other courtyards I've stayed in. It was nice to have an assortmant of phone chargers connected to the alarm clock to use. I have never seen that before and it really came in handy. The bathrooms are nice too. The hotels staff were all on point. The breakfast crew were very friendly and service was fast. The front desk staff were fast and friendly as well. Property was clean and convenient. I would highly recommend this property and I would definitely stay here again.

We were completely blown away with the modern and comfortable decor in this new hotel. We were flying out of Gateway the next day so we wanted something nearby. The hotel has a restaurant on site and a nice pool area. There is not much nearby but there is a sports bar behind it that had typical bar food. As it is a Courtyard there is no free breakfast. There is a shopping area a few blocks away but just typical chain restaurants and shops. We have been coming to this area for eight years and the first few of them this area was an open field so everything is quite new. They had nice travel books to read down in the pool area. Great service and staff too.

I traveled to Mesa, AZ for business. Stayed at the Courtyard Gateway and loved it. The room was comfortable. I had a king bed with sofa. Room included microwave and refrigerator. The staff was friendly and helpful. Very close to Phoenix, shopping areas and lots of restaurants. The hotel does not provide complimentary breakfast but there is a Starbucks in the lobby as well as a Bistro. Fitness area is nice with treadmills, bike and elliptical machines but not much in the way as far as weightlifting equipment. Nonetheless it was a great stay!

great location to Mesa Gateway Airport. Very clean hotel. The room was comfortable and so was the bed. Shopping and restaurants just down the street. Would recommend this to anyone and would definitely stay here again.
