The pool is great. The rooms are nice. The service? Meh. Don't eat dinner there. You will die of hunger waiting for food or a chance to order. Not enough people around to even try to excuse it as being busy. Sub par dinner service. As for the rest of the service... Gaaw. There was some cranky old lady who cleaned the poolside every morning and freaks if you are gonna walk across her floors from the pool to your room. Bloody forbid u should be wet from the pool. Dry swimming anyone? The night crew at the front desk seemed to be a snappish lot. One morning I came to ask a question and heard snoring from in back at the front desk. So skipped asking my question as sleeping beauty might be pissy. We had a fabulous maid the first day who left our room so nice it was breathtaking. Apparently she got fired or something because that was the last day of good cleaning. After that skip coffee refills or shampoo. Apparently one shower is good per week. Three people staying in one room. Maybe refill occasionally on the shampoo, huh? Not happy over the incident over the coffee. Went to the front desk to ask for some coffee when none was refilled in the room. Yes I realize it's an amenity but why offer it in the first place if your not going to maintain it? Well went to front desk and had to go there twice to obtain on what they promised. Long story. Like I said the pool is fabulous. Service sucks.

This Holiday Inn is a unique place for a Family Meeting or an extended stay or just a stopover

for one night.

All the amenities are perfectly done up with a friendly staff to explain everything asked for.

We picked up part of the Family and enjoyed a marvelous breakfast in a cozy area.

Recommendable at any rate! They have lots of parking areas and parking lots nearby.

Room Tip: Plan ahead and choose from a wide variety of comfortable rooms!

I come to Arizona often to visit my Mother, who had a very bad accident, is now in a Group Home, and is forced to stay in Arizona for the Insurance to cover her costs. From the moment I contacted Iris (Manager), two years ago, she has been so wonderful in finding me a room when I needed to come see my Mom - sometimes in emergencies (even at the height of the season). She is one of the most compassionate people I have ever met. Gracie, at the front desk, has also worked very hard to accommodate my situation. She is always cheerful and understanding. This last time they were really booked, but the General Manager Gary was happy to keep an eye for an opening, and when one came up, I was able to have the room. This Holiday Inn is made up of a compassionate team of people that have made this difficult journey for me a manageable one because they always find a place for me, when I need it the most. Thank you to all of you.

I stayed at this hotel for a business meeting. My room was located on the 4th floor and one side faced the pool the other faced the freeway. Freeway noise was loud at evening rush hour which can last a while in Phoenix. The room is dated and needs an update. Bed was OK but the AC/furnace was too loud due. The room is spacious but furniture, counters and carpet need to be replaced. The room is a good size with a seperate living area in the front and a bedroom in the back. The ceiling in the hall and bathroom are original drop in tiles that create a low ceiling that if you stretch out your hands can touch it and I am 5 feet seven inches.

The curtain in by the door is torn where it was apparently caught in the door. This could be a nice property but they will need to update before I stay again.

Room Tip: "Rooms on the south side are quieter"

Great Hotel for there rate, very accesible to travel around the area, clean and very comfortable rooms, i stayed there for 4 days and everything went very well, very quick room service and the food was very good. I would recomend this hotel.

Room Tip: Higher rooms on the southside have less noise, because they are on the oposite side of the freeway.

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Mesa last week during our daughters tournament. We had a great time here as the rooms are clean and fresh. The kids loved playing in the large pool, while my husband and I enjoyed the wonderful hot tub.
The restaurant had good food and was very reasonably priced.
We will be staying here again.
