Holiday Inn Phoenix - Mesa/Chandler

I recently stayed in this hotel for two nights on a business trip. Scott and Sean were manning the desk when I arrived. Both were pleasant and helpful. I loved my room and was pleased to find my HHonors gift already sitting on the desk when I arrived. I love this little perk.

The Room - I really enjoyed the upscale styling of the room and marble bath areas. My room was a spacious king bedroom overlooking the pool area. I could hear the pool activity, but it was not bothersome.

Room Service - I wasn't feeling well one morning and opted for room service over going down to the restaurant. It was delivered promptly and I found it to be very reasonable even with a generous tip.

Location - Adjacent to freeway and short driving distance to upscale shopping and dining. Not much within walking distance - aside from a Home Depot and fast food.

Other - Parking was ample and free internet is always appreciated!

I would definitely stay here again.

The lobby housekeeper fast worker, friendly, effiecient - "Karen".
Desk clerk, "Scott" helpful with directions and other things eg.) safe.
Hotel could use more lounge chairs by the pool, as well as chairs on the balcony.
Maintenance efficient - unplug tub.
Hotel comfortable. Pool area nice - scenic - palm trees etc.
Enjoyed our experience there - would come back again. Would recomment to others.

Enjoyed my 1 week stay very much. All hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and the pool area very large. More lounge chairs should be available, as the few get taken quickly once the sun enters the area after 10:00. Plenty of towels to go around and the hours were great. Patio chairs should be on the patios attached to the room ( I dragged a room chair outside on my patio). The gym was very accesible, and enough equipment and weights. I really appreciated the lobby attendant Karen, scurrying around keeping everything clean, neat and the garbage well looked after. She is a very bubbly friendly individual, a great ambassador to your hotel.

After reading mixed reviews was hesitant to stay there. However we could not have been more pleased. The staff was attentive to questions about the area and even pointed out many "places to see".

Spent a week here while on business in the area. The first two nights were in a suite, which are in an adjacent building on the interstate side of the property (interstate noise.!.). The suites definitely needed some more updating and the overall quality of the suites was not very good. I then moved to a king room, which was roomier, cleaner, and newer. The hotel did have a very nice outdoor pool/spa area, decent workout room, wifi was ok, and the restaurant/bar was nice with good food (although a little pricey..). The housekeeping was average at best, and the entire staff seemed distant and rather aloof..! Our company received a good corporate rate, and it surely isn't worth more than $100 per night..! The location was pretty good in a busy commercial area off the interstate, but decent restaurants are few and far between.

Our stay here was great! We travel a lot and we love when we find a great hotel to come back to. Our group was made up of adults and teenagers, and the pool was perfect for everyone! Especially since it was SO HOT!!! The rooms were clean and everything was functioning (apparently a luxury at other places) and the restaurant inside had great food too. We will definitely recommend Holiday Inn Phoenix and will come back and stay next time.

This room was filthy, there was an old dried up apple core on the floor next to the couch, and a white line of dirt around the edge of all the rooms where the vacuum didn't reach. Worst of all, I have bed bug bites on both feet. Do not stay at this hotel!
