“Such a waste.”
Reviewed July 25, 2014

In a time when so many people are in need of help it is a shame that so much money is being used/wasted on all the temples built and maintained by this church. When you visit be ready to be approached many times by missionaries.

“Easter Pageant & Visitor Center Tour”
Reviewed May 19, 2014

Each year a free Easter Pageant is offered to the public for about 3 weeks leading up to Easter. I took my family this year and was very impressed. You want to arrive at least 2 hours early to get a good seat or bring your own seat cushion. We also took a tour of the visitor's center. The Christus statue is breathtaking. It is a marble or granite statute of Jesus approximately 15' tall. The missionaries are very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend you take a tour. There are many things to do and some even for kids.

“Slow down and catch your breath.”
Reviewed April 15, 2014

The gardeners maintain the grounds immaculately, providing a peaceful place to sit and meditate or have a leisurely stroll. Nice backdrop for family pictures. The visitors center is always beautiful and anybody with a curiosity about "Mormons" can go there without any obligation. They also host special events during the weeks before Easter and also at Christmastime. Additionally, the have an occasional art exhibit. But boy, is it hot in the summer!

“Beautiful place to visit”
Reviewed April 2, 2014

This is a great place to visit at holiday (Christmas) time. Take all the kids, walk through the park and view the lights. This will always make the downtown area of Mesa a landmark. A nice tradition to add to your Christmas holiday.
