We had a death in our family and I made arrangements to fly out to Phoenix and used Priceline to help defray the last minute costs. I had read the reviews on Trip Advisor and was a bit nervous about this property.
I emailed the General Manager and I got a prompt reply from Candace, Asst. to the General Manager. She assured me they would try to honor the requests I had made. When we arrived at the front desk Vanessa took care of us and we got a lovely quiet room on the executive level. I asked to meet Candace and thanked her for her kindness. I was impressed.
Yes, this is an older hotel that is undergoing rennovations so the furnishings were a bit dated.The rooms were quite large and were very clean. Housekeeping staff were very attentive to our needs.
Everyone we met from the front desk to the restaurant manager to the wait staff were kind and helpful. On the last day, I went to the business center to print out our boarding passes for the flight home and could not access the internet. I asked an employee, Oscar, to assist me. He took me into their mgmt. offices to use one of their computers.I was once more impressed with their level of service.
