This is a rather small museum but it is very interesting and worth a walk through. Lot's to look at and once in a while you can actually go on board a B-17. Good place for weekend visit.

If you are planning a trip to the Phoenix area this air museum is worth a day trip. We have toured numerous air museums and rate this one as informative, entertaining and diverse. We were especially impressed that visitors are allowed to tour the restoration hangar and interact with the experts! Very good activity for families and plane buffs.

Our tour was guided by a real life WW2 vet in his 80's who gave first hand accounts of these planes in action. He made the museum come to life!

Rainy weekends in Scottsdale will prompt an outing to a museum and my husband loves military type stuff so this was perfect. It was a very interesting museum - airplanes, helicopters, uniforms, etc. to view and learn about its history. There is also a hangar outside that has aircraft that are vintage but still run, so it's a "working" hangar. $12 for adults at your leisure inside. Cool experience.
